me... well I was out there serching for a way to access filesystems of CDMA handsets, and bumped into http://www.ngcoders.com but then when I searched for the same contents on google (well arun knows about my wierd habit of googling everything) I came up to a site, with a post from StaticElectricity about Ringtones on Rd2030, and since I had a 2030 I decided to register! Personal Experience China : My dad had got me a TCL Q550 handset from his recent trip to china, 3 days after the pack was opened here in india... kaboom... my handset stopped working, I sent an e-mail over to TCL in china, and 2 days down they tell me about a representative in Mumbai, and I get a free replacement. India : I buy a phillips DVD player, about a month after purchase, I face some issues with the sound and DVD read capablities... "and well who'z at fault?" was what was asked by phillips guys to me ! They had the nerves to ask me that! Is that not ridiculous ? and till now I am running around for some damn manufacturing defect Is that a fine line ? or a bold black print? now consider this ... can't india change some of this crap? think a little beyond the set params? Network catch is surely better (ANY DAMN DAY) on a Nokia, compared to any other phone manufacturer... but in the case of 2280, even I have seen this issue... I presume this call drop, loss of coverage all of a sudden (when u really know that there is a proper coverage there), could also be due to some software issue.... try to contact the Nokia Priority point, maybe they have an update! Why I state that it could be a software issue, is because, even if the network is active, the translation to the handset is to be done by the Nokia I Software. Other issues could be accumlation of girt on the internal antennae... coz the orignal complainer states that the handset looses network when someone touches on the back of the handset... Check it up mate. .. coz Nokia is one of the best when it comes to reliablity and performance! cheers Ashok
