I can probably invite u over to show both in action. @imvickky: Yes ... u have a lot of options, using an external HDD / CDRW / Connecting the lappy thro bluetooth PAN, or using a USB 2 USB cable / or using a Serial 2 Serial (and using something like laplink). Rajanpert, The DVC or the Digital Video Creator is a hardware which is used to connect ur video cam to the comp to record videos, Dazzle DVC 80 fits into the USB port, and I have used my JVC handycam as a web cam for experiments. Information about DVC 80 Once u have attached the cam to the PC thro the DVC. Switch on Yahoo messenger and click on webcam, In the open webcam dialog, select "WDM Capture Device" and then ur camera automatically acts as a webcam. When it comes to digicams ... I guess u have a firewire / USB connecter, and 99% of the digicams do support web cam mode... just install the camera drivers, and connect the camera to the PC... Cheers Ashok

UR wish ... my command sire ... Anujit is kinda chubby chap .... with a large nose, strong specs, and loves to booze and watch porn.(ahem ... Anu wakes up in the morning .... and well by the time u wake up ... u can see him munchin on cakes / buiscuts / kit-kats or drinking tropicana. and watching TV on his comp (Pinnacle TV TC ). Music is his other passion.... if I did not mention porn-0-drinking! Stays alone in a nice house with two servants ... since he hates to carry his own luggage / do any chores! rushes to office at 8 odd .. in the morning (and always pathetically late for the bus ... most of his friends call him to ask, has the bust left) and returns back ... at a time when no sane human beings walk the streets.. Well he claims that there are a lot of kewl chicks in his office .... HR, and trust me guys ... I plan to drop by with my resume ... and shock the wits out of anujit someday soon ... I already have a lappy, storage - how many home users have 1.6 TB HDD ? do u have a DVC ? if yes.. then connect cam to DVC (I use Dazzle DVC 80), and then in Y! choose CAM as TV Card/WDM Capture Device. Cheers Ashok
