U want a B/W or a Color Handset ? if Color ... go for the nokia 6255 ... thatz classic. u could also opt for a 5130 / 6130 LG if u have a budget constraint. if B/W lemme suggest Nokia 2112. AT Commands to send SMS (*including the Documented AT+MSMGS (and hex data) in the Nokia CDMA implementations.... ) do not work, on RIM handsets... so Do not expect anything ... Not possible ... if u are not planning on playing behind the rules... I mean, u sure could try some stuff (illegally) including ESN / SID / NAM / PID etc changed ..... and then registering the MDN.... btw op. freq. might also be reqired to be changed... Currently I have got a project to develop an SMS Send application (from 2 sources ... one as a college project for a local cargo company, and the same project from one of our own rimweb members.... ) so right now I am working on Developing something for this .... trying with different handsets, and logics ... if anything comes out of my trials ... Is what useful ? I guess the question was left incomplete? if u mean using a proxy, 2 possiblities, if u are using one which has page caching, well u might find slightly increased speeds on pages u've visited before, and where there have been no new updates. But well as such I've never seen an increase in the speed while using a proxy, if for anything, the speeds have gone down! cheers Ashok
