Where do u have the SMS on ... in the RD 2030? then u can use bitpim to download the SMS folder ... and use a decoder (if u dont find one .. I will try to make one for u) to decode it to proper format. All the best

As far as the error is concerned please download msinet.ocx then put the ocx and sms2rim in the same dir (but in case ur os does not actually accept registering that way! ) just go to Start -> Run and type regsvr32 %path_of_msinet.ocx%\msinet.ocx that should register it for u. Say if it is in D:\msinet.ocx type regsvr32 d:\msinet.ocx (it will become registered after that!) Well nothing close to urz dacodecz but I am happy with 340 GB on my P4 (thatz 160 + 100 + 80) , 80 on my P3, 120 on my laptop. The 340 GB is almost FULL!! but space left in the other two ... coz I am mostly on my main comp (the P4).!!!

Hey ... many people out there do not have the data cables / PC for uploading ringtones / wallpapers to RIM mobs... so maybe u could start a Reliance Mobile Ringtone / wallpaper outlet !! he he heh e Just a random thought!

well any 1 thought of opening a PCO (Local Call booth) to make calls to reliance mobiles at say 25 paise or 50 paise per minute and use a RIM 440 Voucher in the mobile ? I know it is a wierd idea ... but I think it is feasible.

well.. I think I am lucky on that count .... I am on Unlimited 128 KBPS connection (Mumbai) at 275*2 per month thatz about Rs. 550/- . and to dream of 10MBPS (even that remote possiblity) well ... ready to do anything to get that (counting the number of movies I will download per day!!!! )

well even I want some1 to experiment what I tried ... and lets see how well the results tally.. (he he he ... I need not worry of battery life... as I have 3 batteries now... from the time reliance gave RIM 2 Rim free 440voucher... I need batteries so collecting them...)

Yep... My Genius Brain at WORK!!!!! <-- Kidding I read this topic, and decided to test this question, I have a spare battery, which I charge without the rest of the handset attached to it, this battery was drained out at the time i put it in the charger (Multimeter showed a voltage of 2.2v), after 25mins, the green light switched on... (voltage 3.1v) , I left the battery to charge further (did not remove it for another 8 hours (full night) in the morning voltage was 3.6v , after I removed the battery from the charger, I periodically tested the battery for any leaks but the voltage was consistant at 3.5 - 3.6v all through out... I think this answers some questions!!!!... Moreover, when the light is blinking and I do not do anything to it (in fact I do not even touch it, and the battery life on the mobile screen shows 2 bands, I find that after some time the light on the charger turns green and after some time the battery indication shows 3 or maybe even full charge.... Others please try out and tell me the results u find.

Hi every1, Hey this is a funny situation... I am an LG RD2030 user. I have been using R Connect (0 balance bug) for a long time now.. Seems like I have some funny problem..... I have been connecting to the net using my old Celeron 266 machine. (In fact I am still messaging from it!! ). But pretty recently I got myself a Pentium IV, and even though everything seems to be perfect when I dial on my nuew machine I get a message like "Error 629. Disconnected from Remote Server" When I bring back my mobile to my older machine and get on line (kabboooooooooom) I am online. Very funny. Now here is an exact config of the two machines : Celeron 266,64MB Ram, 4.3 GB HDD, on a KOB 810DST board. (Win98 / IE 6) Mobile Connected to Com-2 --- Connects Perfectly to R Connect Pentium IV 2.4 GHz, 256 MB RAM,80 GB HDD, on a ASRock board (Win98 / WinXp )(IE 6) Mobile Connected to Com-1 --- Connects perfectly to BitPim but not to R- COnnect (PS : One more observation, Windows XP on my new machine says "Some error with modem", while 98 Dials to #777 and gives a message like "Disconnected by remote server" (I have tried connecting my old Com port from my olod machine back to the new one - no sucess))

Hey ... here is a procedure I tried.... I took a backup of the registry from my celeron. and just updated that on my P IV restared my machine.... It loaded without the graphics drivers.... fine with me as long as it connected .... IT CONNECTED (But Disconnected a Minute Later) Now... I tried changing the settings of my network .... an all.. now my machine connects to the net... but there is only outgoing traffic... no In comming ie. The out bound counter runs like an Indian Taxi meter ... where as the incoming traffic remains stuck at 205 bytes any guess?
