Reliance CC is a joke. Anything regarding EVDO.. they will ask you to visit Web world. If you insist... they will ask you your handset model.. if you say Samsung galaxy S i500 .. they will say its a RUIM handset so contact web world. If you say it's Imported Incredible/evo/epic .. they will say its not in their data base so they cant give any info regarding it. Please visit Web world. I spent more than 120 minutes talking to different people and even supervisors in CC yesterday. Once a nice lady was taking my request .. asked my name, address, number, rsn number, nearest landmark.. etc.. etc... but the call got disconnected in mid of conversation Reliance CC is :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: Good luck talking to CC. (ofc he has to get EVDO activated on his number) PPP UserID/PSWD (MDN) should be changed to buyer's number for 1X data. As EVDO is already activated on seller's mobile number from backend.. The seller has to only get new HSD Username/pswd from reliance for his new handset? (new_handset_MEID)@hrpd.rcom.co.in??

yeah maybe. I downloaded a 25mb video from youtube. the speed ranged from 0 ~ 80~ 130 ~ 200 ~400 ~ 500 ~ 800 ~1000 ~ 1200 ~ 1400 kbps (max which i've seen) Also tried it on torrents.. download speed ranged from 6Kbps ~ 130Kbps (kilo bytes) So probably reliance network issue. Any suggestion to improve signal strength? Currently im on EF02 Modem, HSD 1005 PRL.

Screen shot of last few tests... This is the speed which i got on 1t day of EVDO activation. Some of the speed are 300+, 500+ so I guess its EVDO and not 1X. My main concern is signal strength im getting when Data is active. My network strength goes to 0 everytime I connect to net. PRL: 10005 (HSD) Also tried with PRL 00005.. was more horrible. Cant even receive calls with PRL v. 00005 When data is inactive I get like 3~4 bars of signal strength.

honestly after recent incidents i went thru... i decided to stick with stock. try reflashing your rom or any other and see if it works.

Yeah true. But people say when using higher class SD Card... apps moved from phone to SD, move files, etc.. etc... all other actions are faster than normal Class 2 SD card. But as Musafir said.. Higher class SD card are mainly for recording HD videos in cameras.

Few minutes ago I got a call from Reliance Mumbai confirming that my request for EVDO Activation has been processed. And asked me to restart my phone. Ok then I created a NV Dump file as mentioned below.. PPP UserID = [My Phone Number] ppp Password = [My Phone Number] EVDO HDR UserID = xxxxxxxxxxxxxx@hrpd.rcom.co.in EVDO HDR Password = [some 8 digit numbers] Simple IP CDMA Workshop Version 2.7 Create Full Data Setting Dump Then I wrote that Dump file using CDMA WS 2.7 Then I started QPST, and in Roam tab Uploaded PRL (Reliance-HSD-Local-10005.prl) And restarted the phone. Tested it with SpeedTest.net Speed recorded: 128kbps Unlike 1X, Without an EVDO plan, EVDO wont work at all?? Yesterday noon got a call from Reliance Mumbai confirming that my request has been processed and EVDO has been activatied on my number. Later I received a SMS saying that my request has been processed and Data plan has been activated wef 3/7/2011 But still this morning Im getting speed upto 128kbps only. Please check the screen shot. But I cannot connect to internet. Looks like the only way I am having data on my number is 1X. Any comments what should I do?

I never tried call conference on epic before. if anyone has the solution to it. plz share here. also does trick for conference call in EVO works on epic aswell? @ Rahul.. are you aware that reliance pre-paid do not support call conferencing. Just for your info. In case you have a post paid connection.. then lets search for the answer from experienced people here
