  6. you mean one just needs a Rs. 5k 3G Phone and connect it with computer and use it as a 3G modem for unlimited downloads at high speed! No FUP! wow!
  7. There are some "special folder codes" for windows: Recycle Bin.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} Network Neighborhood.{208D2C60-3AEA-1069-A2D7-08002B30309D} Desktop.{00021400-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} Briefcase.{85BBD920-42A0-1069-A2E4-08002B30309D} Fonts.{BD84B380-8CA2-1069-AB1D-08000948F534} Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} Printers.{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D} (Dial-Up Networking) DUN.{992CFFA0-F557-101A-88EC-00DD010CCC48} Inbox.{00020D75-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} My Computer.{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} Right click on any folder (in win XP) and rename it to one of the above. The contents will no longer be accessible. I think the script/batch file use the same concept to hide the folder removing the barcket in the end of the folder name may help you to access your data!
  8. Your OS? if you can see folder in explorer, then change the name of the folder... remove the brackets in the name.hope that wud help to retrive your folder. and plz do not use it on critical folders untill you are sure that it works perfectly on your system.
  9. well sometimes it does matter! :rofl_200: :rofl_200: jokes apart... yes, curropution and will of not to do anything is why India lagging behind and is still counted in developing nation. Not only politics, but curropution is everywhere. Law/police/defence/corporates/general etc.. etc.. Try opening even a small industry. Bade saab ke dafter ke chakkar kaatate kaatate umar beet jayegi, par kaam snail ke pace se bhi dheere hoga! Few yrs back my cousin wasted about 1yr just to change the registered name of the plot he purchased for setting up a small industry in Himachal. Aaj tehsheeldar aye nahi, aaj aye to hai par kalam nahi uthyenge bcoz unke knee mein pain hai and all kind of excuses you can imagine of!
  10. Somebody said me that Android is more power hungry(drains battery quickly) when compared to iOS or Symbian. Is it true?
  11. Samsung Epic 4G Vs Htc Evo Vs Htc Incredible

As rajan bhai you said that With 1X Data always on the voice calls will get busy signal... 1) Is it also true in case of GSM phone when GPRS is constantly on? I think phone is not engaged in that case, but not sure about it so need to confirm. 2) What about in case of Reliance CDMA official BlackBerry with BIS ON in those area where there is no EVDO and BIS data flow thru 1x!
  12. Samsung Epic 4G Vs Htc Evo Vs Htc Incredible

with 1x data on all day means voice calls will be on standby? voice calls will be busy all day i assume!
  13. Samsung Epic 4G Vs Htc Evo Vs Htc Incredible

mufi bhai, yep no phone can compete with 6700 (except jasjar).. my fren used to call it geometry box lol i havent used epic nor incredible. but my fren has Desire which he normally use it with wifi connection on (in his office and home) and never used to complain about battery! i think Desire and incredible both use the same battery! ofc im not comparing the Epic and incredible.. as epic do have bigger battery so definitely better battery life than incredible. but what i mean to say is battery life of incredible with moderate usage is adequate. not like evo where everywhere (different fourms)everyone is complaining about the battery life! Im still a HTC fan mainly because of their built quality! Saw a guy in a garment store yesterday flaunting with Samsung Galaxy S, the plastic quality was very average like a <10k phone. I hope epic's built quality is better than Galaxy S
  14. http://www.rimweb.in/forums/topic/19566-blackberry-8830-review-and-hacks/ this is the very first thread in Blackberry section!!!!!! follow this and you can surf net on your BB device without BIS! NOTE: you cannot use RIM softwares like fb, Yahoo chat, gtalk, msn messenger etc... without BIS. you need 3rd party software for that like Nimbuzz or Beejive(my fav).

  21. saw in MTNL Delhi's website.. Plan TriB UL data-256 (dl/ul = 512/512), unlimited! but the problem is the static IP i dont need static IP as i keep downloading stuffs from rapidshare and by resetting my modem i can download another file without any wait!
  22. thank you rajan and tanveer. Well my usage is uncertain, sometimes i dont use broadboand for weeks when im out on business tour, and sometimes i rape the internet connections but once you get addicted to 512kbps, its hard to go back to 256 I was previously using MTNL broadband. but when i shifted to airtel, the MTNL guy said that my BB connection is among one of the frist few in my area, so the port which i was given was very good, rest people having problem. and if in future i switch back to MTNL i wont get the same port. i didnt had any problem with MTNL's B/band before as the downtime was very rare (well ofc little more than airtel, but still its okay). the port is the thing im little concerned about. delhi guys, how do you rate MTNL's Broadband??
  23. Blackberry Desktop Manager V6.0

is that so! i have to try 4.7 will hunt for the download link on the net!
  24. Hi guys, I am using retention plan 649 of airtel. where speed is 512kbps and i was told at the time when this connection was given to me that there is no FUP on this plan. but today while surfing i was redirected to this page... when I called airtel, the CC executive told me that there is a FUP that if you download more than 10GB of data within 15 days, then your speed will become 256kbps. i asked her to disconnect my plan, and she transfered my call to retention department. the retention dept guy asked me why I want to disconnect my connection, i told that while giving me this plan I asked your executive whether there is any FUP applicable on this plan or not, and the executive said that there is no FUP on this plan then why my speed should be decreased. other service providers do not do such things. he said that its an order from TRAI to have an FUP on unlimited plans, so we cannot help. every service provider will have FUP in Unlimited plans. Is this true? Guys beware and clarify everything before you ask for any plan! Does MTNL Delhi also have FUP on their 599 unlimited plan? The Retention dept. guy told me that even if other service provider do not have FUP on their plan, soon they will. I was thinking of changing to MTNL, but want to make sure about any FUP in 599 unlimited plan.
