Yesterday night suddenly neither i was able to send any SMS nor i was able to receive any SMS on my Blackberry. Though voice calls were working. it happened @ 1:30AM 12th Sep, Delhi (SMS error 3, Message ID XXX) the "xxx" were random numbers, but SMS Error 3 was common during every message which i tried to send. Even the battery pull didnt worked. though I tried it doing battery pull couple of times but no use. Today morning it became normal again and SMS were functional. But I would like to know why it happened? because on net I've read that many people suffered same problem that too for weeks. Some say prl has to be done again... but i dont know much about it. so experts... please shed some light on it.

thank you varun bhai for your advice. and thank you gaurav bhai for helping me with PRL loading process. well dunno whether its network problem or some other, but now i loaded the prl, and i hope that it would help like it did to varun bhai.

saw an advertisement of Chinise phone claiming 40 DAYS BATTERY LIFE. Dude you are buying a smart phone.... smart phone are always dumb on battery. Smart phone are like smart people! more money required to buy smart phone.... more money required to hire a smart guy smart phone require more energy (battery) ... smart guy requires more salary and better office space smart phone is able to do more than average phone.... smart guy can do more work than average guy smart phones are less in quantity than average phone... smart guys are hard to find than average guy so do not worry about battery. or keep additional battery always with you. Evo and Incredible... these are firtly CDMA phone... CDMA phones are always battery whores... dosent matter whether it is smart phone or basic phone. secondly they are smart phone... they require more battery than average phones.

If you want to buy a PC for purely Gaming pleasure, I suggest you to get the best technology available today. This is because the rapid pace at which new games are developed and new graphics processors are developed and marketted into the market, your PC is going to seem obsolete in a month, dosent matter even you have the bought the latest technology PC. before buying a configuration, keep in mind about the games which you gonna play in coming years and not about those games which you can play today. Note: Keep the Canibinet/PSU unit in the end of your shopping list. I did this mistake... bought low power PSU and later bought High End Graphics card, and found that my PSU is not able to supply sufficient power to Graphic Card. So i have to change the PSU again.

for gaming you should go for i3 processor... might come under you budget. but with a graphics card + 19+ inches monitor... i think you have to pay a little more.

Is it possible to connect a BB Device to a Ad-hoc connection over wifi? I searched it on google but did not find any solutions to it. So prolly there is no way to do it, but would like to take a final opinion from Gurus of rimweb In canse if Ad-Hoc is not possible, is it possible to connect to shared internet connection of a PC to a BB device using Bluetooth or DataCable? or Wi-fi router is one and only solution to it?

Nevermind, just figured it out... Blackberry DO NOT support Ad-hoc networks.

But he said that I have to use the number for atleast 3 months in postpaid... then only I can get it converted to Prepaid.. is this true? i think there must be some commission on bill amount allocated to seller for first 3 months so guy might be lying to me aswell.

Both Vodafone and airtel gives better plans for BIS in Prepaid i.e. just Rs. 399/month (emails/im/unlimited browsing). Dunno why operators always try to pursue customers to get Postpaid numbers rather than prepaid, and theres nothing good about postpaid. Prepaid always Pwns postpaid (especially in GSM)
