This is what reliance said me in a mail after my complaint... "Actual speed can be as high as up to 3.1 Mbps, but in most real-world situation, you can expect average speed of 200-300 Kbps." These days my EVDO speed is very very bad. Few months ago it was excellent (0.7~1.5Mbps). But since december, the speed is poorer than 1X. And many times it switches to 1X. I've heard TRAI is implementing strict rules for Wired/Wireless broadband/mobile Data rules and guidelines from 1st January. Will it make any difference?

Cable Operator in my area in Delhi is asking for Rs. 1300 for a SD STB. Its Cisco's STB. But in no way, they will give a receipt for selling us that STB. (No proof of purchase). My neighbor has installed it for his 2 TVs. The cable operator is charging 200 + 100 (for additional TV) = Total 300/month for 2 TVs. Around 600 Channels (almost all of them). We asked the cable guy whether he is giving so cheap subscription for now and will the charges will go up as per the channels subscribed from November next month? He said that the subscription charges will not change and will remain the same. I am very confused what to do? Whether opt for Cable STB or a D2H service.

@VinodNayak I once had similar problem. My problem got solved by using BlackBerry Original data cable. And I am using it till today. Try using HTC/Blackberry original cable. Hope your problem might get solved.

Its pure business. If Samsung dont sell them parts, then some body else would. It generates good revenue for samsung. So why kill the golden goose?

I think problem might lie with the network and not with my phone or battery. can anyone please confirm about any network issue in North Delhi (Shalimar Bagh/Pitampura/Ashok Vihar area) with Reliance customer care? I cant contact Reliance Customer care coz my phone dont let me to make any calls Please tell them that EVDO is working but phone calls/sms is not.

No ankur bhai, the problem started again Now I installed back EC05 Stock (unrooted) + on stock battery... but problem still persist. When I restart my phone, the network location message is properly displayed. Data works absolutely fine. network bars are adequate. Only problem is with Phone calls and SMS

It may be due to a key problem, once I was facing this problem, after injecting a key thro cdma ws problem got solved. sivashankkar If it would have been A-Key problem, then people should be able to make calls to me, and I should be able to send/receive SMS.

I am having a strange problem today. I used an Extended battery which was meant for Epic 4G. It was a 3500mAh battery. Since I used that battery, my phone stopped sending/receiving voice calls and SMS. Tho EVDO data is working perfectly fine. If somebody tries to call me, the message is played "The number is not reachable". When I switch off my phone then the message is played "Phone is switched off". When I try to call somebody, nothing happens. The dialer keeps trying for some time and message is displayed that "Call is Lost". I was on CM9, but the problem persist with AOKP and also with EC05 Stock (unrooted). Plz help
