My brother was using a sprint tp2 for the past 1 year with esn of sim (clo***ed). When i checked the meid of the phone with getstat it shows Registered with reliance and GSK Possible. So I want to restore the original mied of the phone. The handset was using Mighty Rom i tried ##786# reset but no use the meid not restored. So i changed to stock rom win6.5 ( that was downloaded from htc official website) and tried ##786# reset now the MEid restored. So to activate it in reliance i need to update the PRL but i cant write the prl. Now I cant update anything thru EPST including PRL it says "Sending LPM Command Failed. Need to reset" and the phone resets without saving the updates. But thru CDMA workshop and qpst i can update the all setting except load PRL. I tried loading PRL thru qpst but while writing i got an error i am attaching the error with the post. Please help friends.

THis is a esn and meid mismatch in the handset. If anyone get this type of error please ensure that your meid and esn is matching. ALL i know is that from this. the pESN that created by MEID must match.

But the phone is still not showing the range it shows still no network. How can i know the PRL is updated by QPST?

Yes it is in Diag Mode and detecting by CWS and QPST i can change Nam setting but cannot upload PRL. Now My mEID shows original and it has been restored. Now one more thing when I try to do a ##786# reset now the phone says the same error and it is not possible to the reset. ANy solution

Hi my dear friends As I have searched our forum regarding this found nothing. I have opted for static ip on my netconnect plus and I got it activated. I want to use this static ip for ftp and database server. I have checked my static ip.with what is my ip.com and pinged from another connection to this. Pinged susccessfully. But I can't access this static ip with windows explorer from another PCB with BROADBAND. I want to setup a Db server and ftp server? Dear techies could u please help me on this?

I am using reliance netconnect plus modem ZTE AC2726 and i dont know how to get into the settings of modem. i have port forwarded BSNL Broadband modem sometime before. But i dont know how to getinto this. While using BSNL modem its by entering the gateway ip 192.168.1.1. for ZTE there may be different thing. Please help.. MY OS Windows XP Proffessional SP2 I want to run MSSQL Server and an FTP Server. MY software is MSSQL based and i want to connect the DB thru internet from remote system. I can Ping from another broadband or internet to my Static ip. Pinging successfully. I even got connected thru windows netmeeting thru from other broadband to transfer files or chat. But for using DB and to see files of remote pc i dont know what to do please help

yesterday i got SMS from reliance stating that data card services will be affected from midnight till today 8AM. they are upgrading their hardware as per the SMS. this may be the reason for better EVDO.

Dear Joshm and friends I have switched to Gb on my fasinate 3 days ago. Its working smoothly but there is some minor problems. With the Android Video Player I am not getting Full Volume audio output through my 3.5mm jack while playing Video with audio files no probs. With the MX Video Player I can solve this issue, But if you have any suggestion please help me. The problem is only while playing video thru headset on video player even if my Media SOund is full and Volume is full the total output is low. But if i use mx player there is good sound like froyo.

I hav just bought this phone. When I search on phonebook for contacts there is some issues. If I am searching for "Steelex"by typing St the phone focuses to "Ajith.steel" and cannot find the steelex in filtered contacts. If I restarted the device its ok. Wht should I do? Pls help

Dear Friends I am facing a problem on my fascinate. While i am using mobile internet for a long time like google talk, nimbuzz. I am not getting incoming calls. The caller gets the callback tune or ringing sound in his phone and my handset is not notifying or ringing in this time. SO the caller normally thinks that i am not answering the phone... Dear Friends.. As my touch pro is in garage now for repairing and the flex cable for the display will take atleast 10 days to reach. I need to get back to my mogul. My meid has beem already registered. Now i changed to a Normal Sim and using it with an lg handset. I take the uim id and written on My mogul. But when i get a call or i make a call after the call is connected within 5-10 secs it got disconnected saying signal faded sometime and sometime there is no any message just got diconnected from the call within 10 secs. I have updated PRL and checked all the values still the problem is there. Please help..

Dear Friends FOr the last four days my HTC Touch PRO Display got some problem. WHen the screen goes off it not coming back even after i pressed the power button. Only blank screen and some small backlit can be seen. IF i press the power button again backlit goes off. ANy problem with any connectors? I contacted a local repair shop they said main cable connecting the board need to be replaced. I am also using the TP for past 1.5 years. Stock rom is the best in terms of Stability and Flow. I installed some custom rom like NFSFAN,ENERGY. IN WHICH I FELT BETTER IS ENERGY, STABLE BUT BIT SLOW AND SOMETIME SLUGGISH. Stock is the best in my view. I dont know much this comparing between 6.5 and 6.1 technically 6.5 must be faster than 6.1. I think the UI and Graphix makes it slow.

Dear friends Mine have the same problem when we touch on the "HTC" written place under the touchscreen there is a bluish screen is coming sometime the back light becomes low and when we release it, the backlight comes again. Same problem with vertical scrolling area of touchscreen. When i show this to a local repair shop they said it is probably due to the sliding strip. So please show some light on the problem dear techies.

I have tested a lot of sw and even my devices sound has been gone and finally got a solution. In Call Recorder from Xda developers. I think its the only way to use call recorder on Sprint Rom with Touch Pro if u use other custom rom there is a lot that offers Call recording. But if u want to go with Sprint Rom U hav to do some tweakings and steps 1) Install Conflipper Slide 2 Unlock Reset 2) Install In Call Recorder Reset Check that the call recording is working by selecting "Start Recording" from the In call menu after the call has been connected if it is working 3) Install Badboy Loud fix Reset And Enjoy A Normal Call recording with this (IF u are in a very noisy environment like City, Factory u hav to use Speakerphone to record the other's voice clearly) DiyPDA InCall Recorder.cab

But i get dissappointed only possible in their touch. here is my conversation 1) I called cust care on the no. provided in the reliance website (windows mobile data tarriff page) Me: transfer the call to blackberry dept CC: you use blackberry? on which no.? ME: not on this no. on another and i just give my bro's no. (even he is not using blackberry) CC transfered to BB dept. Me: want windows mobile data plans. CC gave the details and they said the plan name is Touch2 data plan and monthly rental 95/- and asked which handset i am using Me: HTc p3000 Wave CDMA CC: Sorry sir not possible to activate on this handset only for Touch 2 My dream spoiled I will try with touch 2 and update here I again called the customer care and said my handset is Touch 2 but the customer care asked me for original bill. Now i think there is no way we have to Pay NUC and Data charges. I also called cc for L1 activation they said this plan was withdrawn.
