Hi Tech Friends can we use this ruim slot for any CDMA network in India? Can we use this abroad in countries like China with CDMA operators? Also wht abt the data settings?

I found my caller id announcement not working even i ticked Settings-->Personel->Voice ommand-> Phone-> Announce Incoming calls and other settings i found this solution in pPC geeks.. If anyone got this problem go thru this reg tweaks this registry edit gets announcements to work: Edit this registry key: HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\TTSAnnounce\Category Change from VoiceCommand1 to Ring As originally stated, it works, but sounds level is low. To increase the sound level, I did this edit: HKCU\Control Panel\Sound Categories\Voice Command1\AttenutationCategory I set it to 4 which is decent, you can go to 5, but I see no difference going louder. Using 0 or 1 will make it whisper quiet. If that does not make it louder, then edit: HKCU\Control Panel\Sound Categories\Ring\AttenutationCategory Same thing, set to 4 or 5. I didn't have to make any changes to InitVol registry settings as previous people stated. Now the phone will speak callers name and phone type (IE, "home"), if my BT headset is enabled then it will spreak it over the headset instead. I also like it better when "Michelle" talks a little slower, as previously stated that can be changed by editing: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Speech\Voices \DefaultTTSRate Mine defaulted to 5, I dropped it to 1 which is normal/slightly slow talking. Dear Tech Friends I am facing a problem with my internet connection on TP. I cant use Rel Mob World connection for EMail Checking through Outlook program of PPC and cant use chat clients like IM+, Fring. Please help me. I am using HP_Rel_Mob_World connection. If anyone can use mail and chat clients with this connection please post the username and pwds also port address.

Dear Techies After a lot of searching, googling and ppcgeeking i cant find a good solution for call(both end loud and clear) recording. I am using Original Sprint Rom by the way i found that we can tweak and use other roms(not offical) like mighty,dcd, etc. and make call recording work smoothly. Now i am at this stage i can make call recording it records both end but the other end is not clear we can barely hear. I used In Call recorder (thanks to Dr. Muffaddal) and S2A for this. SO please help can i tweak the other end sound in original rom (Sprint stock rom). Dear techies there is anyway to get virgin working on mogul. I haave tried a lot for this. But no any progress. i changd esn and min and prl for this but the handset not showinng range or signal. if anyone using virgin with mogul please help me. as mobile internet is free n mogul i am interested to go for this. So please help me. i am now using reliance and tata in my mogull in Nam1 and Nam2 respectively.

When i am using virgin free net i cant use fring, nimbuzz or im+ like chat clients and even gmail.there is anyway to overcome it the net is connecting thru a port

I was using Reliance in Nam1 and Nam2. Now i switched to vrigin. I done tata working on Nam2 using Handset change card. I purchased a new tata connection and put it in My Nokia 6275 and then i changed to it Nam2 of Mogul using handset change card. Ask for HCC and update here...

Dear Friends Now i can use my mogul with Virgin. And use internet absolutely free and all the credit goes to our dear Dr. Muffaddal Some Notes before u proceed from our gurus: 1)WE cannot get back to ESN after we use MEID easily. 2) WE can only write MEID once (So be careful it is correct. For virgin MEID is found on SIM) Like A00#######F##0) It must be in HEX Format (In My case I put the exact MEID on the VIRGIN SIM TO MOGUL) 3) To start, you need: (1) CDMA Workshop to change ESN (2) QPST (3) QXDM (4) SPC Code used for QPST First Using CDMA Workshop change ur phone to Super CID state that is ESN is 00000000 The steps are actually very easy. 1) Go to the Titan/Vogue. ##DATA# or ##3424#, or start \Windows\DMROUTER.exe -diag 2) Start QPST, and enter service programming. 3) Press "Read from phone". You will be asked for your SPC number. Enter it. 4) Close QPST. 5) Start QXDM. and connect ur phone to it by going to Option--> Communication--> Target port (select ur port and press ok) 6) Select "NV Items" from view browser (Drop down list). 6) Scroll to item 1943, press "READ". It should show item inactive. 7) Enter your desired MEID and just press "WRITE" (Dont press enter key)(Some time the value there will not change dont worry just reset ur phone) 8) Reset your phone. Congrats, you now have MEID on your phone! STILL U cant use virgin Just write the VIRGIN ESN using CDMA workshop I think thats all

Dear Dkaile I dont think so that is due to water. Becoz i can work with my phone wholeday without reset when in NAM2 that is TATA. ALso i am now going to check how many days i can go with tata from today onwards. I will post the update i still think it is related to PRL. IF anybody else using mogul in Kerala. I want to know which PRL they are using.

Dear All Techies I am now facing a series of problems with my mogul i dont know what happened to it. I just hard rested the handset a week back to solve some network problem. Also updated the prl The problems are as follows 1) Some time the phone while receiving or making call i cant hear the other person even he can hear me. To solve this i have to do reset :'( 2) Some times the phone goes out of range and search for range even if it is in average range. :'( 3) Sometimes while recieving a call (At the time of touching answer menu) the phone get hangs, to solve i have to reset :'( 4) Sometimes while making a call (At the time of touching on talk or call button;There will be dailing window showing) phone get hangs i have to reset :'( 5) Also i feel a decrease in range compared to previous usage with the phone :'( So every day i have to do minimum of 3 reset and maximum of 7 reset. I dont know what to do my handset is working strange. SO please please please help me

Dear All A few days back i have posted regarding an issue about my phone that is not coming to range whenever the phone goes out of range. And i updated my PRL with Dr. Muffadal supplied and the problem had been solved. But now i face a strange problem that when i gooes out of range after some time the handset come in range it shows full range or 2 to 3 bars. I cant make call when i make a call phone gets hang and i have to reset. OR someone call me after this cant get me "they can hear my callertune" i dont know why this now i am totally dipressed with my mogul and i have to reset to solve this. please provide a solution. Any problem with the QPST settings

I am facing a problem whenever i change to original rom. Now it is more irritating. When my phone goes out of range for more than 3 mins sometimes it hangs or it will not return to range even if in enough range. ANd i cant swith off the radio signal. Doing that hangs the phone. Every time i have to reset the phone. Anybody facing this. I have not faced like this in HP Roms. Whenever i switched to this original i am facing this. First time i neglected it as a small problem. But nowadays i hav to travel a lot so it is so irritating

There is anyway to use Rel_Mob_world, Rel Net Connect connections for mobile internet browsing from blackberry like we using on htc mogul. Please clarify?

@ Dhiraj Hi Dear How R u? I am using Tata and Reliance in Nam2 and Nam1 respectively. But i did not get any problem while switching between this. It think there is no such an esn asking. what i done for tata was. I take a prepaid connection and got thMSI no from it and registered to Nam2 after that using their handset change card i changed the no to this esn. Now its working fine in Same ESN I think.

Yes IT is possibe. I am using like this. Reliance (Postpaid) in Nam1 and Tata (prepaid) in Nam 2 U can make use of Tata handset change card for this
