Hey guys my g33ky brain got a ques...cant v use our symbian fones (lik n7610) as webcam, i mean connect it to the pc thru BT n use the cell's cam as webcam......similarly we can try to use the cell's mic to input voice in the pc, lik fr using VOIP n stuff... Is it practically possible? y? y not? and if its possible, are there any sw fr this?

so that means they cant b used interchangeably? MORE IMPORTANTLY.... cant i use DKU 2 wid Nokia 3200?

hey techies me out ,... whts the difference between the DKU 5 and DKU 2 data cable??? can they b used interchangeably??/ coz my father bought a 7610 and he got DKU2 free so i thought if by using that i cud spice up my Nokia 3200........... wotsay?

NO I m not confused, i used to have a Nokia 2280, and i asked the reliance customer care if i can convert my service provider frm Reliance to Garuda.The ppl there said that its illegal, and then i formatted the cell memory completely.After doing that i contacted the Nokia care ppl and asked me wht i shud do, they said we will try to restore the reliance services coz using softwares frm other providers viz. MTNL or TATA wud b illegal.......Wot say guys? But i do agree that although RIM s**ks in some aspects, since i wud always vouch for it always

write to the president of RWW directly: firstname.lastname@relianceinfo.com is the standard format there was an interview with him posted over a year ago How to do that?????i contacted reliance customer care via email...no reply....i think i shud go to consumer court, since i made an attempt to bring this in their notice..

Hw can u say so that U CAN ASSURE THAT THE DETAILS WILL B KEPT A SECRET?And wht do u mean that the details will b kept secret frm me? BUt this is very bad.Suppose there is a guy who gets details of someperson.He can get details abt all calls made, all sms sent frm that number.Hence there is a complete lack of privacy.There must be some method so that such details are not easily accessible to all the ppl working at webworld, since i think that its not merely a risk for privacy, but is a social risk as well.Imagine, a flirt type of a guy can get details abt a young female and then chek her details, or chek her outgoing calls and sms, and bring hell into her life.....He may also try to call back on all the numbers to which that girl called or messaged and find other gals her age.Then if her frnds also has reliance...DAMN..can u make out wht i m trying to say?I m making a big point here. Theres social risk. We shud do something abt it.....

National sms?Wht abt the local sms details?I think the the webworld ppl cant find local sms details, since most ppl wud now have sms marathon card and it wud b quite tuff to get the local sms details, specailly when 18000 messages can b sent..Wht do our adminintrators at rimweb say?

GUys whts the info that u can get frm the webworld abt ur prepaid no?I think u can know abt outgoing calls, but can u also know abt incoming call details, when not roaming and incoming sms?can u also get info abt outgoing sms?Even when u have the SMS MARATHON card, can u get details of all outgoing sms?Reply ASAP

Its illegal, i think.But the process involves formating the nokia fone so that it loses software of reliance. Then u can put anyother software like for TATA's indicom or the cheapest MTNL Garuda...It involves use of a code, which, i m sorry, i cant provide u since i think its illegal

Gr8!!!!I did not expect such stupid piece of knowledge frm a RIMWEB member......I meant that can i buy Nokia 2112 wid reliance n then format it, then i can use it wid MTNL's garuda.... For those who dont know, U can format ur nokia CDMA sets, if u r really fed up wid reliance,but my experience says, Reliance is the best
