Bump has been updated. Now you can transfer the photos from your mobile to your PC with bump! Open bump on your phone, select photos you wish to transfer. Open https://bu.mp/ on your PC. Tap phone to your PC's spacebar and voila it will recognize the device and transfer the pics....... In my view, its a really very cool app and technology......... bumping phone to the spacebar of PC is coolest! Try it https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bumptech.bumpga&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5idW1wdGVjaC5idW1wZ2EiXQ..- 1,081 replies

Any trick to put phone in diag mode on ICS? -
Further to it, I would advice dont go unless you know the product, its very risky and leave aside individuals, banks/corporates have paid heavy price being on wrong foot.

Update Verizon Fascinate i500 to Gingerbread, Ice Cream Sandwich and Jellybean
phonegeek replied to joshm's topic in Samsung
I think you have to copy and paste these two files chap-secrets and pap-secrets to system/etc/ppp folder. You should have saved these file before updating to ICS. If you have not saved the file, I think you have to revert back to GB rom, save these files and again flash ICS. Correct me if I am wrong. -

I just got my phone and the its on 2.1(Eclair) ! So to update it to the geewiz rom, I have to use ODIN, put the above file in PDA section and pit file. Right? Also with this ROM, can i put the phone in diag mode for programming or I have to use stock EH03 only? With stock EH03 also, do I have to use the pit file? Well I flashed the stock EH03 with pit file and all went well. The after I flashed the above Geewiz ROM with pit file. It was successful as well. But now when I boot phone, it goes to the geewiz recovery only. Even after exiting, it goes again back to geewiz recovery! What possibly went wrong? -

Meet Aisha. Micromax’s Siri for the Gingerbread powered A50 Ninja Ever since the Siri announcement during the unveiling of the iPhone 4S last year, there have been a slew of voice-based assistant apps for Android. And though I am yet to find one that performs as well as it claims to, there’s no denying the marketing potential of them. This makes the focus on Aisha in the publicity material for Micromax’s latest device for the Indian market, the Superfone A50 Ninja, understandable. First things first, the phone aims at the extreme low end, costing only Rs 4999 (USD 95). It runs Gingerbread on an undisclosed 650 MHz processor, packs a 3.1 inch screen and a 2-megapixel camera. Considering the price, it’s pretty impressive that Micromax has chosen to offer such a pre-loaded app. AISHA, which stands for Artificial Intelligence Speech Handset Assistant, was developed by Dexetra, the developer behind another voice-assistant, IRIS. I personally expect the phone to do well. It’s already the cheapest Android smartphone that I’ve heard of in the Indian market (I might be wrong about this since there are so many lower-end devices over here that it’s tough to keep track of). The presence of AISHA will undoubtedly make the A50 Ninja stand out.

^ This happened with me when I had fascinate. If I remember exactly, it happens because the mobile no feeded in the phone may got erased in the process of upgrading. You need to downgrade, put the phone in diag mode and inject mobile no again. @joshm can confirm it. -

Since you are already on EL29, so follow these steps: Root and install CWM. http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1342728 Using ES file explorer or any other root explorer app, go to system/etc/ppp and copy chap-secrets and pap-secrets to your SD card. Required for data connection on ICS. Download and put these files onto your SD Card. ROM, GAPPS, Modem(optional), kernel(optional) http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=151466 Go to CWM and make nandroid backup. -Wipe Data/Factory, Cache, Dalvik. -Flash ROM -Flash Gapps Flash modem -Wipe Cache and Dalvik again -Flash Kernel -Reboot You can flash modem also in the same CWM session. After rebooting, copy the chap/pap files to the same folder again in /system/etc/ppp and your data connection will be up. You must be having wifi so that you can connect to google play and install ES file explorer to copy the above files. Disclaimer : I am not responsible for any damage. Hope the above helps....... -
