Which is best: Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 or LeEco Le 1s
Jagan T replied to sachinsachu's topic in Handset Suggestions
@Kalaichelvi There is a news on using RCDMA in Redmi Note 3 India version. Pl follow the link: http://telecomtalk.info/comparison-between-leeco-le-1s-and-xiaomi-redmi-note-3/150695/ and this: https://www.gogi.in/xiaomi-redmi-note-3-review.html -
Suggest me my first Android - Entry level Requirements: GSM Dual SIM / Dual Stand By preferred Absolute and heavy 3G Browsing on one SIM Good screen size for lot of reading Good Batttery Solid build quality Need to play with Latest Android on UI Customisation and App Development Good Camera (to send Design mockup/proof images) Basic gaming for my 12 years old niece (like Subway Surfer, Temple Run, etc) To use some productivity apps: Todoist, Trello and Evernote and Time tracking apps Im on limited budget: Rs 7000 Shortlisted handsets are: moto e Micomax Unite 2 Redmi 1S Android One and the new entry - Huawei Honor Holly I read almost all reviews of these handsets, but our dear members advice is the key My Testing Experience: I used and tested moto e and MMX Unite 2 with my friends. Reg. my user experience Unite 2 is very average due to limited memory and build quality, so i omitted this. Where as moto e is superb build quality, very handy and curvy design is so attractive. Browsing is also excellent. But i feel the screen size is not suitable to my browsing use. Some more screen space is better. moto e camera is also average quality. MMX camera is much better. Android One speck looks good but the Battery is a big let down and never got a chance to see in any hands. Redmi 1s is excellent on its spec. Even its square design is also looks good. I just checked few minutes and its very responsive. Their circus sales scared me, but now the handset is available through the generous member(s) with in our forum. But recent Heating and App. Crashing and battery issues raises the question on reliability. Recent entry Huawei Honor Holly is also excellent spec with 5" screen, Kitkat. moto e is my choice but due to Screen size only i prefer between Redmi and Honor Holly. Both the phones specs are good except for Mediatek chipset of Honor Holly. So friends, please suggest me on Redmi 1s with risk of heating and testing of MIUI or go with Huawei Honor Holly. Sorry for my long story.

Unlocked MTS CDMA+GSM Dual SIM Android Handsets at surprising prices on eBay
Jagan T replied to KAPILKDEV's topic in Other handsets
O wow. Looks very good. apt for Rel CDMA. Will contact with my friend who needs a good, low cost android for Rel CDMA. Good work Kapil. -
Yes Raghav and Commonman, thats right. The issue of heating and battery issue is still going on. Even some users complaints after the recent update of MIUI Version as convinced by MI, but the heating issue is not resolved. some using with changing the clock speed and solved the heating. By the way i confirmed the Redmi 1S just now through COD, and would be delivered by 10th. Lets see the handset's real quality and usage. Im taking risk but i could learn to root it and use the way to play with android. :-) My other option Honor Holly is also went out of stock and proved its a worth contender to grab. Thanks for ur inputs.

:=) Xioami/ MI phone are are sold in 200% purely Lucky Draw. So you are not lucky enough to book one. -
Got a chance to see the MI3 from my friend. The device is looking really good and the handling is awesome. But i cant understand the marketing plan of Xioami. How they going to build a strong brand with this circus sales practice? Flash sales is making tons of free publicity. But making happy to few thousand people and frustrating few lakh customers. Due to non or limited availability of handsets, how could the customer base grow? If i recommend the device to friends, but where is it available? Now MI3 sales is discontinued. Same will repeat to Redmi 1s. Without free availability of handsets, Xioami is not worth to stand long time in India.

Oops! Rs 1000 less. Nearly 1.5 lakh people rushed for MI 3 (Rs 13000) and imagine under this low price there is really a MAD rush for this phone. Now MI 3 is out of stock for now or it wont be sold again? MI = Mystery Included -

Looks a good move. Arun and Rimweb always rocks.

@Hitesh Thats right. I read in some reviewes OS optimally used in the internal memory system. 16GB is enough. Yes, OTG is a very good option in such cases for GalaxyNexus, Nexus7, Nexus10, Nexus5, Moto X, Moto G, etc --- BUT NOT FOR NEXUS 4... Nexus 4 is hardware level handicapped for that... For automatic mounting and unmounting the external storage (card reader, thumb drive, etc) first root your phone and use "StickMount" app by ChainFire (available in PlayStore)... @amtrag @amitroutary Thanks. @Kanaga NOT FOR NEXUS 4... :-( . Can i use "StickMount" app for Nexus 4 to better OTG Support and using the OTG cable occasionally ?
-
Im suggesting Nexus 4 to my friend. He is afraid of using without SD Card. This will help. Thanks Dipan.

16 GB pre-booking avilable now in Flipcart. Shipping in 10-20 days. @Kanaga and Rim Gurus Please list some more advantages and disadvantages of handsets with SD card and without SD card.

Reliance CDMA Launches new Data packs (can be used in HSD & 1X) for mobile customers
Jagan T replied to shan1212's topic in Data services
Hmm. This pricing shows why so many (WISE) people was left RCDMA on data usage. So much of confusing plans and packs. See: Rs 199 - 2 GB - 30 days - Some 15 circles Rs 247 - 1 GB - 30 days - All circles -
Rajan ji! Cool. Rcom is always a trend setter. There might be UNLIMITED data for all plans. So they removed the data volume.
-
Any further info in this Rs199/ 2GB plan?
