There is no harm in using Hyper Drive rom on USC gs3. I am using this rom for past two months with data working. Its Nice rom with lot of features. Skssha

Rooted my phone using the above method and installed a custom rom " Hyper drive Rom" from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176793. Very nice rom and lot of customisations are available. More over data 1x/EVDO working perfectly. sivashankkar

I purchased the phone from a prepaid reliance cdma mobile user, and I saw he had recd such msgs from Banks and all.. Please help me asap..!! I have a CUG group of 150 users and my cell no is registered in all my firms Bank A/c's.. If I cant recv the msgs, I am in a big fix.. As such i was troubled finding good handsets in Reliance CDMa, now this stuf.. Please lemme know if any soln possible, else MNP is the best tool for my group I guess.. With iphone you will not sms'es from bank etc. That's the draw back. For the above reason I have registered another GSM number to all service providers. But in some states you will get the sms. Today restered nv while in MB1 firmware and flaahed again MB1 thro odin. Now data both 1x and EVDO working fine. After flashing MB1 to my surpeise i found all rhe apps and orher datas installed were intact and saved my time Thanks for the gurus for their valuable guidance sivashankkar

I have got data working following kshah's post without downgrading firmware, downgrading only modem to LK5. Now i will reboot and see what happens.

Unfortunately I downgraded the entire ROM and lost all data, but I think downgrading the radio must do the trick ... I am going to try that later today ... No need to downgrade rom.Only radio is sufficient.I have done only down grade of radio

For mine data was working till today evening after update. An app had a fc, to clear that, have rebooted my phone, from that time onwards data is not connecting sivashankkar

Simillar problem faced by me also, earlier I was having Hero and subsequently transfered my number to epic. Given my old hero to my brother, he has tried to activate the no thro ww. In two attempts the number was not got activated in hero. Simillar reply was given by ww people. There is software problem. I am also interested know the solution for this problem. It may be due to a key problem, once I was facing this problem, after injecting a key thro cdma ws problem got solved. sivashankkar
