I have my HTC Hero sprint ... my friend got it from US !! and now waiting to get it activated. am using htc mogul right now, and also ordered a blank MEID card from sadikk. Can somebody tell me/guide me how to proceed with the activation ?? plzzzz i cant wait to get it running on reliance guys !! any help is greatly appreciated Thanks a lot

Heyy, I have a question ... How does this storage memory matter?? I notice abt 30 MB difference in memory for the cooked ROM and original ROM.. program memory is not much different, but storage memory IS !! SO what exactly sits in this storage memory to make it bulky ?? i just want to know if I can free up this memory as well and probably speed up the mobile.. I am facing a problem with incoming calls. There is about 3 to 5 seconds delay in receiving(ringing) of incoming call. How can i reduce this delay ?? and the "#" key in dial pad is not working .. probably becoz i installed i phone dialer.. any way to get around this problem ??

Hello All, I have a nokia 6275 with a wierd problem now. It got wet in rain one day and got off. I had given it to a service center here in bangalore. Those guys repaired it ( Just opened the panel and cleaned it, looking for short circuit, moisture etc) Then tested with their BL 5c battery. It was working with that battery. But after that I tried to replace it with the original BL 6C battery. But now the phone doesnt even switch on with this Battery. To be sure of the problem, I even checked it with a new BL 6C in a shop. It didnt switch on. But It is working with B L 5C normally. The only problem is that the battery drains off very fast, may be because BL 5C is not meant for this phone. I am not sure on what to do for this problem. Please help me on what to do. I dont think Nokia Care can do anything about it. They will simply change the mother board and charge me because the phone is just out of warranty period. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Immediately after a soft reset: program Memory: 29.7MB in Use Storage Memory: 33.96 MB in Use i have not loaded SPB mobile shell.. I have used Throttle launcher, SPB Phone Suite, SPB pocket Plus and resco today plugin instead of that. It works pretty fine, doesnt crash and is quite responsive and fast. I have disabled quite a few settings in t he S2U2 program. I felt that is unnecessary to load actually. Uninstalling S2U2 might actually give up more free memory and faster response.

Heyy... i found the solution.. it worked for me, but dono if it works for everyone else facing that problem. here is a brief note of what i did ! I assume, you have loaded s2u2 (Slide to Unlock) settings. Go to --> Start --> Programs --> S2U2 --> Caller ID --> select OFF. select S2A key OFF, S2End Key OFF. and select OK. It will ask for softreset. Do it, and try, you will get the caller ID. this worked for me .. i hope there is a problem with S2U2 software in this build.

Hey.. we both on the same boat !! i am also facing the same problem .. not even sure what might be the problem.. but for me atleast sound is audible though i dont get the number/intimation !! it just vibrates and rings without any number.. Hi guys !! I have a problem.. I tried to load hetals ROM. i could install the latest 3.56.651.0 from HTC. I tried to reset the phone when the sprint customisation starts (reset by inserting the stylus into the soft reset button) but when the fone started, it searched for network.. i got the network, but a big triangle icon is sitting beside the network icon on the top tool bar.. when i get any incoming call, I get it as "incoming roaming call " is there anything wrong wid the process?? please guide me with this.. and help me loading this ROM. i tried searching for dummies guide but i dont find it anywere. i would appreciate if anyone gives the link for that. please help i am stuck with that triangle icon!! what will be the problem wid this??

can somebdy please post a detailed step by step guide to load a new ROM onto my HTC Mogul ?? I am running the default ROM provided with the mobile and SPB mobile shell installed on it.. How do i crack /unlock the mobile to flash the latest clean rom from hetal ?? please can any one help me ?? this is gnna be my first step to explore the mogul potential... help is greatly appreciated

I am planning to upgrade my all time companion - Nokia 6275 to a new windows mobile and I am looking at HTC.. My budget - Max 17000rs. After going through this forum topics, I believe HTC is a good brand to chose in windows mobile series. I was earlier interested in getting myself HTC P3000, just because S720 was out of my budget. But Now, the options like HTC Touch and PPC 6800 are exciting. before considering these mobiles, I want to understand a few things. 1. In the process of getting these work for my RUIM Card, Will I be possibly screwing up the mobile and waste my money put on it?? 2. Between HTC Touch and 6800, i am more towards Touch, but i see many ppl getting 6800 here.. any reason?? 3. Is there any change in the battery cover that i shud make to accomodate the RIM card holder and soldering setup?? Does it harm the looks or form factor? 4. Is getting HTC P3000 a good option ?? I am looking at Touch because I want tht more battery backup and GPS on the mobile. Please guide me 5. What might be the problems/issues that I can run into trying to make HTC Touch work for me with RIM. ?? will it be a serious loss ?? I heard ppl get SMS late on their HTCs .. is it true? My Usage: 1. Good SMS usage, I am on DAPO Offer 2. Receive about 8 calls/day excluding the credit card calls 3. use Rworld occasionally 4. Use NGPay application for ticket booking 5. charge battery on end of 3rd day Any suggestions are welcome. u can use group sms softwares as u say u in DAPO. It send unlimited number of sms in one go. R world and R connect everything works fine. Let me know. I am interested in this mobile.. I am looking at touch just because of the form factor.. I think the Mogul will be heavy and bulky.. i have not used/seen it yet. so its really getting difficult to decide .. @Sadik bhai, I m almost decided to purchase it from you whatever it is touch/mogul.. please help me decide, and let me know if it comes with everything done so that i just need to activate it with my RIM number. I also want to know how good is the battery back up ?? Will you also give it with the latest ROM with least bugs?? this is the first time i ll be using a pocket PC.. so kinda worried. please be patient with this deal wid me
