So DAPO is getting cancelled. Any specific reason for being on DAPO. There were other plans in CDMA in last few years which were much better.
-
Is it same as earlier CDMA plan or different?
-
But Delhi 4G SIM still not activated from the back end. Myservices still showing status as "Mobile - Postpaid" only and not "LTE4G". No CDMA network in Kolkata also. All bank OTP are linked to that SIM. Totally off for 3 days. Seriously thinking of going to consumer court.
-
May need to get your SIM updated. The webstore at Ashutosh Choudhury Avenue near Quest Mall will do it.
-
In Kolkata network completely switched off from 31st night. Saw many people with their CDMA SIM at the webworld today. They were being issued new SIMs and the person at the counter was making migration requests via terminal.
-
Delhi still has MTS. If you can get a MTS smart SIM, the same dongle will work. It would also work with TATA Docomo CDMA.

Took by 04/16 Kolkata SIM to the Webstore at Ahutosh Chaudhury Avenue. There were at least 30 people, mostly with basic handsets in queue. Told at one counter that data is not working. He first tried to go through so settings but then asked another person to upload "patch". That person again wasted some 5 minutes going through settings before handing over to a third person who finally uploaded the patch and data started the minute I put the SIM in. But Delhi 4G SIM still not activated. No CDMA network in Kolkata also. All bank OTP are linked to that SIM

Registered for migration on 30th. No CDMA network. 4G SIM still not activated.
-
the 4G SIM will start functioning only when service status is LTE4G_PREPAID
-
Are you registered in Myservices? Log in to check your service status in "product summary" of main page. whether it is Mobile - ............ or LTE4G_..............

I have postpaid no from Delhi on roaming in Kolkata. They are yet to migrate me. I registered for migration on 30th. May be they have not been able to migrate all those who registered to GSM. That's why they are still keeping CDMA network on. Unfortunately, in Kolkata there is no network. So can not access CDMA.
-
Check service status in Myservices. Migrated connections show LTE4G_POSTPAID/ LTE4G_PREPAID. Non-migrated ones show Mobile-Postpaid/Mobile-Prepaid. I am facing the issue as they have not yet migrated my connection.
-
CDMA network gone in Kolkata. My Delhi SIM not yet migrated as per Myservices status, so new SIM also not working.
-
I myself did through mobikwik

The series is different for different cities. For Delhi it starts with 89910500..... for Kolkata it starts with 89911200..... But in general, the problem seems to be with PKT date 4/2016. SIMs with PKT dt 5/2016 are working fully.
-
In myservices, the converted SIM are identified as LTE4G_PREPAID and LTE4G_POSTPAID, normal RGSM and normal RCDMA are identified as PREPAID and POSTPAID. My Kolkata postpaid and Delhi prepaid (initiated migration only last night) numbers are migrated. Delhi postpaid number is yet to be migrated. Delhi postpaid number still working with 1x data as of now, on roaming in Kolkata. No recharge options are available for LTE4G_PREPAID

Time to port out

" The company said it was “over enthused” by the response from its CDMA customers, who it said were keen on the migration. " What overenthusiased? People were forced to change with the threat of stopping their services. " RCom said it informed its subscribers in early April, and since the complete shut down of CDMA in 17 circles will happen only by end of June in most places, many subscribers have got 60 days of advance notice. " April ??? Complete lies.

Share / Request Reliance JIO Invites

MTNL has roaming agreement with BSNL. In many interior places it is the only SIM that would work and also have 3G signals. Data roaming is free i.e. same rates and packs work across India. Of course, not useful in large cities. -
In my case its 4/2016 and data is not working. So is the problem specific to 4/2016 SIMs. Others please respond.
-
The SIM envelop has "Month" mentioned. Can people who have data working out of box indicate the "Month" mentioned please. Whether it is 4/2016 or 5/2016?

Is there any way to display contact profile picture for incoming/outgoing calls -
Data not working on upgraded SIM for me at Kolkata.
-
Kolkata CDMA SIM was showing network in the evening but no data. Tried calling, call was getting disconnected after 1 sec. Switched off CDMA SIM and inserted 4G SIM. It did not catch any network. Did manual search and selected Reliance 3G. SIM registered and now working for Voice but no data. Also strangely, SMS from Rel 4G Kolkata to Airtel Kolkata working but SMS from Delhi Rel CDMA SIM to Kolkata 4G SIM not working. SIM works only if preferred network type is set to 3G or 2G. Stops the moment network type is indicated as LTE. There is no RCom 4G network. Jio 4G network is available but SIM fails to register. Got two Delhi circle 4G SIMs thanks to @ngr.hd and initiated upgrade for Delhi postpaid and prepaid numbers. Migration recharge of Re.1for prepaid worked via Mobikwik.

Which is best: Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 or LeEco Le 1s

Great assessment. One main drawback is RN3 (MIUI) does not allow shifting of apps to SD.
