@aalok My guess is, that once CDMA network goes down, the Webworlds would still be able to migrate customers to 4G SIM using the RUIM numbers.

Indian made RM3 does not have valid MEID numbers so will not work with CDMA. But CDMA in India is already in death bed, getting killed by the Telcos. So go for RM3

Finally got a single SMS in prepaid no.

On Delhi postpaid number received 7 SMS in 22 hours, 1 automated call and 1 manual call informing that CDMA service is closing by 31st May. On Delhi prepaid number, did not receive a single message in any form. On both numbers I am yet to send migration sms. Does it mean RJio is only interested in postpaid connections.

Rcom was is debt because of their stupid marketing. EVDO has been better than 3G always, both in terms of voice clarity and data speed stability. But rather than emphasising on their better service and offering support for premium handsets, RCom decided to offer services only on cheap bundled handsets.

If you think that 4G would be as cheap as EVDO, be prepared for a very rude shock.

RJio does not have a single paying customer. RCom has lakhs of paying customers. RCom customers are very happy with EVDO and do not want to change. Why should the paying customers of RCom be made to suffer for the future gains of Rjio

Received following SMS twice today in Delhi postpaid No. "We are closing CDMA network by 31st May'16. Get your free 4G SIM from any nearest Reliance store and enjoy uninterrupted services. T&C R COM" PS: I have not yet registered with 4G SIM

put RECRUC04 in SIM1. Not even connecting to RCDMA network. MEID is showing as all Zero. Seems they have disabled CDMA by removing MEID details.

If there is no 4G in 1 month, I'm sure 50% will port out.

Did not have any signal issue in Kolkata during the last 48 hours. Either with Kolkata SIM or with Delhi SIM

I use MTS Smartphone SIM with EC306 dongle. Never had any speed restriction issues.

today in Kolkata there was no data in the evening. It came back at around 8.30 PM. MTS data has also been behaving erratic for the last 2-3 days.

we can port after 90 days anyway. RJio is not expected come before Oct.

Anyone received invite for Kolkata? I requested Guru ji with two different number-email-name combinations (one RCDMA no other Voda no) and he processed both promptly. But have not received anything so far even after 12 days for 1st and 5 days for second.
