Unethical Profit Of Reliance GSM in Orissa Circle

by that same logic, they should also not claim to offer a tariff of 1.2 p/sec, as the lowest unit is 1 p. if they are offering a tariff in fraction of a paisa, they should also account for it in fraction of a paisa. otherwise, they should restrict the tariff to 6 p / 5 sec or something similar, in multiples of 1 paisa, with no fractions. -
any update on this one?

I need a evdo handset with email and browsing capabilities and the option to use as a tethered modem. I want OMH set only as it would be used with MTS now (kolkata EVDO scheme) and in case MTS service is terminated it should be easily usable with other service providers. Got a maximum budget of about 7000.

2G Scam: Supreme Court Quashes 122 Licences issued in 2008
commonman replied to csmart's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
I have been told by a lawyer who was part of the case that the whole PIL was funded by Airtel & Voda and even most of the data/documents submitted were also provided by them. The judgement also delivers maximum benefit to these two. The judgement faults the FCFS policy of 2001 but keeps licences issued till 2007 out of its purview. Airtel and Voda got majority of their licences during this period. On one hand, judgement leaves decision of PC to the lower court but on the other has declares all licences after 2008 as illegal. Judge retires immediately after the judgement. Now, are we getting a pattern here? -

MTS licence covers CDMA or GSM spectrum? if CDMA, they could possibly make a case out of that itself. and in terms of customer base, MTS CDMA is definitely not a small operator. Add to that the fact that MTS Russia is owned by the Russian Govt. -

Please suggest entry level Android handset for GSM or CDMA (MTS)
commonman replied to Venkatagiri's topic in Handset Suggestions
Micromax and Spice do not make the phones. They rebrand handsets from other manufacturers. So they are as good/bad as the original OEM.I got a Spice Mi300 about 18 months back. Later came to know it is a rebranded Foxconn handset which is also offered at different parts of the world by Orange, Apanda, Comtiva, Chery among others and has a very active online community. Spice never upgraded after Anroid 2.1 and did not release flashplayer for this set. But thanks to the online community, I am running Android 2.3 with flashplayer without any trouble. -
I have today seen a banner at Vaishali (NCR) for Netconnect Data card with the catch line "GET 3GB FOR Rs.50 PER MONTH". Does anyone have any information on this. Can this be used with Phone as a Modem?

Oh. And I thought that R-Com is trying to pre-empt BWA offers with its own plans.
