  3. ^^ It is one thing to offer 3G data roaming through agreement with another operator. It is a completely different thing to use 3G spectrum allotted to another co. and sell 3G services to consumers of a circle where the company did not get any 3G spectrum. That is illegal by all means. e.g. Idea does not have 3G spectrum in Delhi. So it can enter into agreement with any other co. to offer 3G roaming to customers of cities where they have 3G spectrum when such customers come to Delhi. But they are also selling 3G services to Delhi customers (who are Delhi based and hence not on roaming) by using the spectrum of other co. that defeats the very purpose of auction.
  4. spice Mi720 supports 3G SIM plus capacitative screen as against resistive of magiq. but availability is an issue. only some of the spice hotspots are stocking it.

    If I am not wrong, there is a period of limitation is 3 years after which no legal process can be initiated on any claims. so if your bill is of 2006 that makes it 5 years old.may be next time she calls up you should ask her to leave her contact details and office address so that "your lawyer" can contact her.

    seems to have mini-USB port only for everything. site also does not indicate whether FM is cordless or requres earphones as antena. colors - yellow/black is too loud. black/black and white/white seems better. good choice as a basic phone with heavy sms user if available @ 2000
  7. the verbatim 8GB microSD card I got from letsbuy got faulty in about 6 months. after more research I found that they have a tendency to become corrupt faster than other brands.

  14. the banks therefore has no right to claim that the normal trasaction related sms would be blocked by DND. they are just trying to fool their customers into stopping DND so that the banks can then sell the database for commercial purpose. so far HDFC and AXIS banks have been found to have sent such misleading sms. ICICI [my primary bank] did not send any such sms to me atleast. other members can also update on other banks. letsbuy, shoppers stop and other similar co. are also adopting same tactics.

    my MTNL 3G costs 1p/12KB. so I would stay with present 2 number scheme. MTNL 3G for data/video call/ISD. RCDMA for local/STD.

  22. my personal experience with snapdeal direct product offers has been very bad. their third party discount coupon deals are good.
  23. for video call through data connection using 3rd party software spce Mi410 - does not support UMTS based video call

  25. @avishekghosh MTS offers free roaming for its data cards. whether the above rates for mobile data use are applicable on roaming in other MTS circles also?
