  4. ^^^ I use RCDMA for local/STD voice calls and SMS and MTNL for ISD, 3G video call and 3G data services. That way I get the best of both and at the cheapest possible cost. Never had any problem with ISD, MTNL-BSNL 3G calls and 3G data services on my MTNL 3G SIM.

  7. received Belkin bluetooth receiver. Neatly packed. came through bluedart. Device has small form factor (about 1" x 1") with small pin similar to some nokia sets for power input. Also in package was one 3.5 male-male connector cord and one 3.5 male to RCA male connector cord (both not tested yet). Paired easily with my Spice Mi300 handset over a distance of about 12 feet. Connected received with my Computer speakers. Used it continuously for about 3 hours for music play. So far no complaints. It does what its supposed to do.

It has a colour screen which is not based on E-ink technology and comes with a 7-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display. It has no touchscreen, so any kind of input can only be made through the keypad located beneath the screen and BlackBerry-like trackpad. It runs on the Android operating system version 2.1 and has WiFi connectivity but no 3G or bluetooth. There is 2GB of built-in storage extendible upto 16 GB.     the BSNL default prepaid EVDO data tariff is 5 paisa per 100 KB from 7 AM-11 PM and 2.5 paisa per 100 KB from 11 PM- 7 AM. even at default rate as a data plan for normal smartphone use it could be a definite possibility. and 1x data is better than GPRS any day.
