^^^ Try to get an AMEX card. Nobody will refuse to issue a card to an AMEX holder. But if you already have a Signature card, why bother about what Kotak does.

SBI Card is not the product of the Bank. It is a product of a NBFC - SBI Card Services Limited. As such, it is beyond the purview of the Banking Ombudsman and the issuer is well known in taking full advantage of this and making profit at the cost of consumers. They are called Secured Credit Cards. Issued normally in case of consumers who do not satisfy the standard credit evaluation process. Such cards carry lesser rate of interests. Credit limit is generally offered upto 80% of FD value.

Landline Numbers May Have 10 Digits Soon
commonman replied to Greatest's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
The STD facility was provided as default to existing BSNL numbers which were not on special tariff plans, when they started the One India plans. The General Plan which is applicable to most BSNL Landlines has One India plan and therefore also has STD facility. At that time BSNL requested users who did not want the STD facility to give an application to that effect. -

^^^ yatra.com/ezeego1.com/makemytrip.com etc are many times not showing the latest availability position. Further, I found that they generally do not show Special trains. For all trains from Delhi there is an in-built option in irctc "New Delhi - All Stations". similar options are also available for Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai etc.

primary link for all CDMA prepaid details http://bsnl.co.in/service/wll_tariffcard_pre.htm -
because ezeego is merely acting as an agent of irctc. the main backend booking is done through irctc system only.
-
irctc charges and credit card charges are levied by irctc and the payment gateway. if you are booking at irctc using net banking of certain banks, the credit card charge becomes nil.

Tata Takes On Mts In Datacard Tariff
commonman replied to kesav's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
As per their website TATA is also offering 2GB for 550 on HSIA (Corby / LG 510 etc) handsets as a special offer. Anybody having experience of activating EVDO with TATA? Given the difficulties faced with Reliance, shifting to TATA may be a better option then. -

There are several buy/sell threads on this forum offering HCC cards, and some of them from persons associated with Webworlds. Which means that they are still operational.

Gps Help!-want To Track Employees
commonman replied to @mitJ@in's topic in General Technical Discussion
I think there is some option in GSM phones. I have seen this in one of my associate's phone where his phone(with GPS) was showing on google maps the location of various persons (with GSM numbers only). He said there is an error margin of 1000 mts (i.e. 1 KM)
