seems that they are offering only per second based plans
-
In the other thread, its mentioned that for Simply Reliance plan (in pre-paid) tariff validity would be for 90 days only.

All really good arguments. From the point of view of respective authors. But they all omit one basic form of non-veg. Fish. The longest living persons of modern age all come from one single country. Japan. And they don't eat meat, they eat fish. Fish has soft but multi-layered flesh. So you don't need sharp canines. But you need strong jaw bones and also need to pre digest the food before it reaches the stomach. Palaeontologists say that somewhere in the evolution of Humans, we took to the sea. Which explains the shape of our feet and our lack of body fur. It also modified our respiratory system to help develop the vocal chord. And in sea, the only available food is fish. And the fish protein also helped develop the brain to make us what we are today. So by that logic, we are neither vegetarian nor meat eaters but fish eaters.

Mobile Services Hit As Nmc Seals Towers
commonman replied to savramesh's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
How come Reliance Towers were spared? -
I believe Vodaphone has already launched 8 series numbers in jharkhand and reliance GSM also earlier launched 8 series numbers in Pune.

While considering the break even point, also consider two more possible alternatives provided there are no partial pre-payment penalty, 1. Making a pre-deposit of Rs.18 K in the existing loan account 2. Making a pre-deposit of Rs. 56 K in the existing loan account In certain conditions, the above options may get better results. As for the break even point, most people take home loan for 20/25 year period. So, it could definitely make sense to shift if the balance period of loan in 10/15 years.

I'll wait too. hope it will work with Reliance and on 1x CDMA too (originally seems to be optimised for EVDO Rev.A), particularly when unlimited net is now only 599. It doesn't have wifi, still at sub-10K should be a great deal.

Now Pay Charges On Receiving Sms !
commonman replied to phonegeek's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
this could be a blessing in disguise as it would possibly mean the real end of sms advertising that even the much hyped "do not disturb" could not control much. As for the banking SMS, most banks already charge the customer for such services. -
Rates are for local only or for STD also?

Forum Members Attention - Please post about Reliance!
commonman replied to gmkarthikeyhan's topic in Forum Feedback
When RIMweb started, it definitely was mainly focussed to Reliance. But over the years, so many service providers have come up and so many plans have come up that the users have started asking all sorts of clarifications. And thanks to the great members, they got really good answers also. So now it has become Indian Mobile forum rather than just RIM Forum. -

Mtnl Comes With Free Incoming While Roaming
commonman replied to me_saket's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
thats good. but MTNLGaruda uses landline type numbering (8 digit preceeded by STD code - same as initital R-CDMA). so how roaming is going to work, are they supposed to allot temporary local no.s. -

Updated: 11-digit Mobile Numbers By 2010 - '9’ to be prefixed to all existing numbers
commonman replied to Sadikk's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
The main hidden objection seems to be that once 11 no. comes in the premium no.s would be useless and the GSM Co.s may face demand for return of money demand as per the clauses of the premium no. agreement with the subscriber. -

Now, Download A Movie In 30 Minutes
commonman replied to phonegeek's topic in Other Broadband Discussion
I would continue with my existing BSNL 2mbps night unlimited (2-8) with no FUP & day 2.5 GB + landline rent + 50 calls for 600 + taxes rather than going for this stupid plan. -
I recharged a CDMA prepaid no. through myservice and it was successful with immediate effect.
