^ which rom are you on? installing too many programs is one reason.... uninstall any recent programs and first soft reset.... the after boot up if problem does not go.... press power button for few seconds to completely shut off phone... remove battery and press power button for 10-30 seconds... reinstall battery and power up.... and then update if problem is solved or not.... otherwise I would suggest a hard reset after taking full backup....

Proper Recycling of new phone battery is very important for Li-Ion batteries and has improved my battery life. I am consistently getting full 2 days battery life now (though in my Mogul I could squeeze out 2.5 days) with my usage... To recycle - Fully charge your battery and then DONT recharge it till it drains fully i.e. till either the low battery message speaks out or even better let it drain further till the phone shuts off itself (first the phone will go into automatic airplane mode and radio will switch off and then eventually fully shut off) - REPEAT this process minimum 3 times..... you should start getting better results from the next charge onwards and enjoy your battery for 1.5-2 years... now you can keep on charging battery at any time (even if its 50%)....

@aviator not as of now, but a virtualisation software may be developed in the near future to run those applications (like windows on a mac machine with leopard)...but wouldnt be any fun...

^ no, he told me he has upgraded to sprint rom and after that problem started; maybe he meant he had upgraded to some other rom..... and that may have been the gsm rom by mistake or intentional....

here's the stock rom nbh link - http://rapidshare.co....651.4.rar.html or here http://rapidshare.co....651.4.rar.html also you can extract it urself - If you have the .exe on your PC and you are using WinRAR on ur pc, sometimes you can rename the .exe to .zip and WinRAR will then open it. And extract the nbh out of it... rename it RAPHIMG.nbh and then place it in root of ur memory card and run it through bootloader mode.... edit: yes, its working, I tried it myself... u can open it using winrar after renaming it zip; and then extract the files and rename the RUU_signed.nbh to RAPHIMG.nbh....

yes, he should give it a try... but how he will extract nbh from ruu... he will have to search for something posted on geeks...

^ you will have to extract the nbh from the ruu and place it in memory card and that can work... but I think is problem is different as he is able to flash the rom after entering into bootloader.... even after that he says its stuck on white screen.... so radio lock cud be a possibility.... did u make him run mtty and follow the complete procedure to unlock radio first time around? he also doesnt remember the radio he loaded the first time?

^ his problem is a little more complicated than that... I think he didnt unlock properly the first time and his radio is locked... got him to the bootloader screen, reflashed with sprint rom fully and successfully..... but even after that its not booting up.... i read some solution on geeks for locked radios... will have to search.... anybody providing inputs will be appreciated.... i think using sspl and repeating the full process may work, but I dont think he's tried that... there's also something like the super bootloader mode with a bunch more key presses, where u have to press the reset button with stylus in ur stomach, as all other fingers are engaged....lol.... and repeating the process... I read this somewhere.... will search again...

lol man, u thinking of latest in processor and antique of os..... if u want quad core think w7.... if u still want tried and tested xp, dont go for quad core... go for something cheaper and save money..... btw, quad core will work with xp, though wont realise its full potential, so I wont advice....

if price is same, then its a no brainer... go with the quad core any day.....

the cdma updater has prl file built in; read the whole post, u need to update prl in that only... its working fine for me nearly ALL INDIA... though I havnt been to Jammu with this phone, but most of north and south india...
