  1. Sprint Htc Touch Diamond

It is not prl related... it is rom related... it can only be disabled at rom generation levels... i.e when you put together your own rom... hetal can help in this...
  2. ^ Nice to see it worked for you; if you want to say thank you, press the green + button on the lower right hand corner of the said post... lol...
  3. Google Voice

@sajokj If by Gizmo5 US PSTN Number you mean the SIP Number it generates, I tried that and IT DIDNT WORK... if there is some other solution or way around this, please post...
  4. On a Treo support site there is a description of how to bypass this for Treo 600 (may also work with 755p): 1) Press and HOLD the 5-way UP navigation control 2) Press and release the reset button on the back of the Treo (in Treo 755p there is no button so remove and reinsert battery to reset) 3) Continue to hold the 5-way UP navigation until the Treo displays the Preferences screen or the Phone application 4) Release the 5-way UP navigation key Ref: http://www.launcherx.com/support/#_Toc135807426 This solution pertained to solving a "Reset Loop", but it also serves to bypass the stylus setup screen. Hopefully by posting a definitive answer to this post, it will save people some time and money. It's certainly an alternative to bricking the unit. The screen is simple to replace, which you should eventually do. Also, sometimes, debris gets caught between the screen and the casing. Run the edge of a thin piece of plastic (light screen protector thin) bewteen the screen and the casing to remove any debris. This might help. Good Luck

I need a permanent US no. for registration; SIP nos. did not work... If someone could help...
  6. I think this will work perfectly only on Phones with larger memory like Diamond/Pro. On Mogul, it will be a huge memory hog. Anyone tried this on Mogul?
  7. Google Voice

removing 1 also didnt help. it asks for 1 physical no.; have applied for ipkall... lets see...
  8. Google Voice

^ OK, I was able to log on to google voice with an anonymous us proxy; but on the first screen it asks me to choose a number and asks to enter zip code or area code and/or enter name and search... I entered the first few digits of sip no. but it doesnt recognise them... what to do now?
  9. @honest Dekho Kamal Bhai, Yeh sab good wishes to theek hai.. aur ho sakta aapko aur forum members ko mera yeh comment thoda insensitive lage, par Stop Crying Like a cry baby... physical no. is secondary issue... first is to login in GV... and of course I used a US proxy server...
  11. Google Voice

@dkaile http://technicalbliss.blogspot.com/2007/04/how-to-use-free-proxy-with-firefox.html Nope, that didnt work... I added a US proxy server, restarted firefox but I still got the message as in post 20...
  12. Google Voice

^ You can forward calls to say a skype address that you have and answer the call... you are unable to call that no. because it is restricted for US dialing only... @djain that link does not give any method to get a us proxy... so its back to square one.... we already have got US no. from gizmo5 as per steps detailed by mathewvp...
  13. Google Voice

@mathewvp easier said that done... a few detailed steps/procedure would be highly appreciated...to get working public us proxy...
  14. Google Voice

OK, So I have got my sip number on gizmo5. But how do I log into Google Voice to register that number? Its giving me that message as I have already detailed in post 20...

  17. The All New Rimweb!

No Savramesh... It was opening in the older IPB board and also causing no problems while navigating to next page etc., as you have mentioned... i.e. Links in my signature were opening as new tabs earlier in the older IPB board...
  18. Google Voice

^ you must have used an US IP address... something IP port forwarding.... right?
  19. Google Voice

    same here...
  20. Duniya padi hai bewakoof banane ke liye.... banane wala chahiye...
  21. The All New Rimweb!

Yup, you got my point now... Thanks... But I think it will be even better if, even the internal links (like the ones in my signature) open in new tabs...
  22. The All New Rimweb!

Sorry for the misspelling Savramesh... Cheers... exactly, it is an IPB Board settings problem...
  23. The All New Rimweb!

Thanks Sarvaramesh... But what actually I wanted to know was the cause of this behavior in the new IPB and whether it is better to work with a single click or there is no solution but to be use the 2 click solutions like right click and Ctrl+Click etc... Which is better and why a single normal left click solution cannot be implemented for this small irritant?
  24. Can anyone guide me how to put the Cut, Copy, Paste etc. buttons on the Standard toolbar as was possible in XP; somehow I am not able to find any solution to put those buttons there in Windows 7 and it is very cumbersome to either use the right click or the edit menu to do these jobs...
