^ I tried the changed settings to list all posts I have not read, and om my gosh, it gave me a list of 491 pages!!!! and that did not include the pages I had already read, so it was damn confusing to search for stuff which I may have read from say 1 week or 1 month ago but would like to refer again... I was unable to do so... I will try to get used to this new change, but that was a damn good feature, if it could be incorporated back somehow...
-
^ But there should be an option for time related i.e. 1week/2week/1month/1year as before also; Newer versions should incorporate more and better features rather than reducing some important one... a la Vista vs XP.... lol...
-
How do I check New Posts for Today/1week/1Month etc., as that option was there before, but now its just View New Content...?
-
Congratulations... but somehow it seems to be taking too much space on the screen....

May be slightly off topic as my problem related to Reliance CDMA, but I was facing a huge problem since last 2 months of CALL DROPPING at my residence cum office address. After the problem not being solved by complaining to their Web World, I sent a mail just 4 days back to serviceassurancecell@relianceada.com and voila they replied giving me a proper Service Request ID and yesterday I also got a call from their Local Service Head at Meerut, and all problem of call dropping has vanished since yesterday. They said it was air conditioning problem at that particular tower which serviced my area. So go ahead and complain, Reliance seems to be improving its service action backup very fast...

^ Contact your service provider, which most probably should be Reliance along with this no. and time, date and Content of the SMS; I presume you must already be registered with DNC Registry; I gave complaint at serviceassurancecell@relianceada.com along with these details and date of DNC Registration and within few days they blocked the sending no. and no messages came again...

^ Nope, not yet.. I require mainly for on the go usage in Delhi/Faridabad Region... It works OK in Faridabad, I suppose? Mainly, EC1260 is available now; What seems to be the problem for recommending EC168? In prepaid, if I dont recharge for 1-2 months, will it be ok? They are giving free 10GB data download for 1st month in prepaid, I read. Can I use that even without recharging in 1st month? Can u get it for me, or I can collect it from u? PM/email me details, lowest price etc...

I am planning to go for this Huawei EC1260 model; Pls if someone could clarify:- 1. Is it still coming with MicroSD card support to use as both Modem and Datacard? 2. Which plan is better for minimal on the go emergency use - Prepaid (1GB for 715Rs.) or Postpaid (499/- Broadband+ 10gb@night in which it is 50p/mb for extra download/day usage)? 3. Is this modem ok or is some other model better?

Google Android is still in its nascent form... give it 2 years and then I hope to see it at the top.... we all should encourage free and open sourced os's... -
Thanks for the info... but its still does not clarify many facts... Is MNP allowed only GSM to GSM and CDMA to CDMA or is it across platforms? Can MNP be done in Lifetime Customers? If it is allowed then, What will be the status of Lifetime Customers after MNP; i.e will it be retained or will have to be taken again? Some points I got were- You have to stay with a operator for min. 90 days before applying for MNP

^ Rel Mobileworld connection with proxy enabled will NOT LET YOU BROWSE the internet using ICS.... and in Netconnect you will be charged 60p/min and not per kb. U can use Mobileworld connection without proxy and browse @10p/10kb. With Mobileworld with proxy connection, you can only access the wap site of Reliance i.e. Rworld... and that also only on the device not on pc...

Vaise, there is no need to delete that entry. I am using it along with that entry; only thing is to go to Start-Settings-Connections-Connections-Advanced-Select Networks and from the top drop box, configure your My ISP connection under which u will find Phone as Modem connection (if not create one) and configure it as u would a Rel NetConnect connection with your 10 digit phone no. as ur username and password, rest all settings default... Connects to Windows Mobile Device Centre seamlessly on my Mogul... -
If somebody could really answer your question, then look no further..... you have found GOD... I really do not want to comment on what our scriptures say... but scientifically there may be 2 main theories.... 1st is Darwin's Theory of Evolution, where everything gradually evolved due to mutation of one type or other and we are all at different stages of mutations... i.e. we are all MUTANTS... BTW according to him and many researchers the first living cell was formed by certain amino acids (chemicals) reacting to each other under some perfect set of circumstances (hetherto any human has been unable to replicate those conditions) to form a living cell.. 2nd Theory is of Chaos or Randomness.... meaning that everything you see, really has no meaning or purpose. Its just a matter of chance that there is life (maybe extra-terrestial coming from some unknown planet on some asteroid). Basically meaning, we all are flukes... Generations have been lost and mesmerised to find the answer to your question...

Home SID = BB Reg ID, so in case of Reliance it is 14655; Tata uses many Home SID's which are - 14846, 14842, 14840, 14836, 14844, 14838.... try and see which one works... after doing ##000000 + Green Key (presuming that ur spc is 000000) and pressing menu to edit the BB Reg ID... Also note for other people, as somebody asked this question in some other topic.... once the BB Reg ID is properly configured as above, the roaming icon also disappears....

Airtel Lifetime Prepaid For Rs1
dkaile replied to anshu_s09's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
I think all this new found love of operators to give lifetime connections for nearly free is something to do with MNP, which will make people on lifetime connections more difficult to change operators.... this is just a hunch....
