  1. 12 Inch Laptop

    Welcome to the club Karki...
  2. What Is X5i Gsm/cdma Phone

What will be the use of being pessimistic about this handset once you have bought it and cant return back; better get used to it, or if the dealer from whom you have purchased is ready to exchange it, better do it with a good quality LG, Nokia, Samsung or HTC handset.... LG will be your best bet and very economical also in CDMA or if you want dual mode then you can try Fly, Spice, ZTE, Samsung, or many other brands going around... because this chinese model does not seem to be a reliable one....
  3. 12 Inch Laptop

Do post a detailed review, as you have both the machines with you (Acer and Dell). A comparison would be most knowledgeable for all...
  4. Sony Dav-dz120k Home Theater System

But your computer should be high end and have a optical out if you want to use 5.1 sound. The more common port available on almost all computers is the headphone out which can be used via a 3.5mm to RCA cable (White and Red Coaxial Wires one) to easily connect to one of the inputs into your Sony HT and get STEREO (2 channel) sound output. The video part is a little more complex and will require a either a Video Card on your computer or a motherboard with inbuilt Video/Digital/HDMI Outputs. The simplest solution is to install a video card having a RCA (Yellow Coaxial) Output and then use a single RCA (Yellow Coaxial Wire) Wire and connect that to one of your video inputs on the Sony HT. Hope that answers your question ...
  5. 12 Inch Laptop

There is none cheaper than 14,999/- which the Acer Aspire One is offering for 160GB, 8.9", 1GB RAM, 945 Chipset, WiFi, Webcam, etc.... I think it is the most reasonably priced fully working Netbook till date...
  6. 12 Inch Laptop

Dell Mini is a good machine with a display size of 1280x800 but the HDD is only 80GB which is too small in today's day and age...
  7. Non SMS Stuff

Well, my Dog is a Labrador and he is certainly more interesting than these cows....LOL
  8. Acer Aspire One

like I posted before; HDMI enabled Atom netbooks are on their way with good graphics....
  9. Non SMS Stuff

    LOL, HILARIOUS...............
  10. Acer Aspire One

No way, it will be at least 5K extra.... and its not launched in India yet and not even available abroad yet; maybe when they finish off their old stocks...
  11. Acer Aspire One

^^^^ good news, it also has bluetooth and ram upgradable upto 2gb; but the screen resolution is the same, so I dont think it will make much difference. A better option would have been a 12.1" screen so that the screen resolution would have been better... Maybe that is why Acer is giving the present model for just 15K... a lovely deal as it is...
  12. Wm6.5 Beta Leaked!

Yes, its good news situ, it was in our info for sometime now... waiting for a stable version.... Hetal Bhai, kahan ho.......
  13. Offline Gmail

  14. You should immediately upgrade to 1.08. You can use NVBackup.prc program (already posted by me earlier) to do selective backup of all the programs you see fit and then restore the same. You can also Hotsync with computer and restore data after upgrade. Usually all old install leftovers are not backed up and restored back when you will be restoring back the data...

  16. 12 Inch Laptop

^^^^ Atom is the new (now nearly a year old) processor from Intel which is less power hungry and specifically designed for Internet PC's... but is starting to tread into the mainframe pc's territory...
  17. Check if you can receive files from other phones onto your PPC; if so, then it seems to be a pc problem; if not, I would suggest a hard reset will be the best option...
  18. 12 Inch Laptop

Well, my thoughts may not be relevant to your needs BUT why dont you give the Atom based ultraportable Netbooks a try.... Because I am using both, i.e. a Core2Duo 1.73gHz 14.1" 1Gb RAM 160GB DVD Writer Laptop and also the 160GB 1GB RAM 8.9" Atom based Netbook and I can safely say that the Netbook is nowehere slower in speeds and any tasks that the core2duo machine is doing and its more portable, has wifi, better battery life than the laptop and all in all does almost all jobs.... I am running Photoshop, CorelDRAW and AutoCAD on the netbook and all run absolutely smoothly... There are many models you can choose from - Acer, Dell, Samsung, HP etc... and best of all the acer one is available only 15K now.... no sense wasting your money... But if u want something classy then u can go for the new sony vaio's for around 75K, but in that amount you can get the One for all the members of ur family and even some close friends (like me)...LOL
  19. Offline Gmail

OK, waiting.... seems a great feature, as I have totally shifted both my personal and company accounts onto Gmail... I am already using Gmail Backup (in case their servers go kaput someday)...
  20. Offline Gmail

I am not able to see any Offline Gmail Tab in settings-labs, after downloading gears etc. as told above...
  21. Dont create Add a new modem connection; Instead on the first screen click on Advanced-Select Networks-New-Enter a name like Rel Mobile World2 on General Tab-Then Click Modem-Click New-Enter a name like Rel Mobile World2-Next-Enter #777-Next-Enter Username (UTS@relianceinfo.com) and password (i4gE7DW) -Click Finish; Thats it, you have created a new connection by the name of Rel MobileWorld2; Now set it as default by ensuring that it iis the selected network in Network Management tab for Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using: tab... Also configure the My ISP connection using the same procedure and edit the Phone as Modem with the same username and password, so that you can seamlessly also connect to the internet on your laptop using the mogul...
  22. I think it is a PC problem and not of the handset... You should read the topic on Bluetooth given elsewhere on the forum and uninstall and then reinstall the Bluetooth Drivers on the PC; most probably it will work after that; also ensure that Obex File Transfer is enabled in Bluetooth Settings on the PC...
  23. Invites Thread

I think I got my originally on a .del3.vsnl.net.in id from vsnl.... that can be tried if anyone has one...

  25. My God, how many times do we have to answer the same question, again and again... Newbies are REQUESTED to kindly read this thread and specially post no. 86 on page no. 6 to setup everything on your Mogul.... The Solution: You have to replace the HTC_CMGuardian.exe File by a dummy text file renamed as the same by a program know as Total Commander or Resco Explorer (and not the default File Explorer) and then delete the Sprint Connection permanently....complete procedure given in the aforementioned post...
