@amit sorry was out of station, so coudn't reply... The procedure had to be followed carefully in the end and that is what I had suggested to you. I dont remember what exactly I had done, but was able to install it OK by the procedure given in that post that I have sent to you... Do let me know the exact problem and we will sort it out, maximum we will have to reinstall windows. Only thing is that the Windows Disk that you have, should have run successfully beforehand on other computers and that we had to copy on the USB flash drive... do give me a call in case of any difficulty...

best time to invest in shares for long term...

@mufaddal great job u are doing mate... just wanted to inquire whether this dialer is better or the one u have posted in the software section (full picture one); and have you tried uninstalling these dialers; does that restore the original sprint dialer back or not... because in the past I faced some problems with the dialer applications and was never able to restore my original dialer if I didnt like them, and had to resort to hard reset...

Ref to my earlier post # 115, after installation you will need to go into Control Panel-System-Advanced-Startup and Recovery-Settings-Default Operating System - and in this check that only ONE relevant system is selected and delete the other system that is booting by USB drive and then the problem of the boot-up screen popping on start-up will disappear...

That hole is empty in the Indian models and is for installing a 3G modem as launched abroad, but in India it is useless and cannot be upgraded either as the 3G modem will require soldering onto the motherboard (unless of course you can do that) and there is no sign of 3G either for another 2 years (in any substantial way, at least)

Then the 360W (sorry it was not 380W) will serve your purpose and even the latest model now available comes with a PCI-Express power cable (didnt come in the one I had seen earlier) - http://www.coolermaster.com/products/produ...=22&id=5445 but to be on the safe side and to make it future proof, you can spend a few extra bucks and go for the 460W one - http://www.coolermaster.com/products/produ...=22&id=5483

Here's the Rs. 1700/- cabinet I went for http://www.coolermaster.com/products/produ...=17&id=2599 and does your graphic card use a separate power cable, if not or if it is powered directly by the motherboard, then the 380W will serve your purpose. 460W is useful only if you have a high end graphic card that requires a separate power cable.....

I think we posted together, pls read my above post, go only for Cooler Master.... you wont regret it... I saw one of their high end cabinets (rs. 8000/-) it weighed 25KG's... total gamers delight... otherwise their normal cabinets (without smps) starts at 1700/- and also 360W smps (enough for a normal system without additional graphic card) also starts at 1700/-

Always go for a good SMPS, personal experience; previously I was using smps that came built in with cabinet (total cost Rs. 1000/- to 1500/-) but it gave lots of trouble like restarting on slight voltage fluctuation even after being on an 600VA APC UPS; First I thought it was UPS fault; then on a friends recommendation, I recently changed only my SMPS to COOLER MASTER (380W Rs. 1700/-, 460W Rs. 2400/-). I went for 460W one because it came with an additional cable for attaching a dedicated Graphic Card; And VOILA, all problems of restarting etc. just vanished; and I tell u friends its worth investing that additional 2K on your system, total peace of mind (also COOLER MASTER cabinets also start from 1700/- onwards) SO ALWAYS GO FOR GOOD QUALITY BRANDED POWER SUPPLY AND CABINET; and you feel you are using a high end Dell or IBM even on your assembled computer...

Sorry, Second one (from page 6 to 8 only)... the flash drive pre.zip file contains the files of that only... Also I needed to edit the boot.ini after install and remove one of the double paths, I dont exactly remember, it was something like this, so that it does not ask which version to boot into at startup, read that article fully- "You may also need to edit the boot.ini file manually if it doesn’t read something like ‘multi(o)disk(0)rdisk(o)partition(1)\Windows=”Windows XP Pro” /fastdetect’" Also before hand download all XP drivers from Acer Website... http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/noteb...as_one_150.html or here ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/netbook/aspire_one_110/ and install only suyin driver for webcam or better still do not install any driver for webcam as the default microsoft driver works perfectly (webcam driver is the only one which has some issues)

Yes, my 120GB AAO is in blue but it is a fingerprint magnet (same will be the case with black, only white and pink dont attract fingerprints, and AAO only comes in glossy colours) and I keep a soft cloth always in my pocket....
-
In India, only black AFAIK; however internationally its available in Blue, Black, White, Pink and Brown...
-
Yes, Price seems very good for 160GB and AFAIK 6 cell is not launched in India till date; only launched internationally; but somehow if u could get your hands on a White 160GB 6 cell - its beautifuuuuuul.... also give a dekko to Lenovo S10 but I think it will be at least 5000/- more and therefore no sense, but if it is only 1-2K more than it can be considered due to ease of replacement of hdd and memory, but otherwise AAO rocks....

All About Treo 755p - Lets Discuss The Good And The Bad
dkaile replied to dkaile's topic in Other handsets
Never had a card problem ever on the 2 Treo's I own.... maybe people are using inferior quality cards or using micro cards with adapters... though they work but they may give u erratic performance.... I always suggest to use good quality cards with lifetime warranty and use only mini sd cards without adaptor and upto 4gb only... You should then not have card problem.... Also this mail and other problems are being faced by Tata customers only.... no such problem at all with any of my Reliance connections... works smooth as silk... some settings problems maybe with Tata.... -
Trusted Sellers Column should include any member with 100+ posts and more than 6 months on Rimweb...

@galaxy in Windows Mobile 6.1 chat is enabled by default, hence what u are seeing here is the chat view. You will have to go inside the message and select it (the particular message will turn light blue by pressing the up scroller) and then open menu and you will get the Forward option; OR you can use the Unthread SMS cab I have given to go the original non-chat view, where u can forward from the option u are looking for... see screenshot attached

News? have I missed it or is it going to be under Indian Telecom Discussion or General Chat? And what about my suggestion about something like "View your posts" link... also would like to see a "View unanswered posts" link... Also would like to see a more Visible Band across Online Members rather than a discrete one... if possible...

You need to clear storage (hard reset), then remove battery and then again load rom..... that will solve ur problem... Removing battery and reloading ur rom is essential...

Project - Foreign Esn / Meid Handset In Reliance
dkaile replied to HetalDP's topic in Reliance Communications
^^^^ I am on Reliance and not losing any sleep either; have absolute peace of mind; good handsets are now available at half the cost of gsm (a-la sadikk); my bill is nearly half of my gsm counterparts; all network and internet is working; network available in all remote locations; so cdma is not that bad after all; only thing is limited choice of handsets...
