  1. New To Treo!

Gotchha now, problem being researched, kshah also says no resolution yet, except reboot.
  2. Here is the rapidshare link to the msi installer file of Sprint Connection Manager. Use it to install Drivers for your Palm, dont use SCM because it is for EVDO connection. Once u can see your phone as modem in Control Panel-Modems, create a new connection shortcut on your desktop with that modem, #777, and your reliance no. as un and pw. http://rapidshare.com/files/194116066/Sprint_PCS_CM_v034.msi Also here is the New Palm 755p Support Page: http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/NUA/launchTab.asp?...p&cn=sprint
  3. New To Treo!

Have u downloaded and installed modem drivers. Is Palm visible as a modem in Control Panel. To install modem drivers put the enclosed CD and use the install modem link. Further to use phone as modem, a connection shortcut has to be created on the desktop of your PC.
  4. Updated- Easynotes - Combining All 3 - Text, Pen (Hand written) and Voice notes; attached in the previous rapidshare download
  5. Yes it is supported, but you have to install websphere java along with it. Tried but have to learn settings to allocate memory properly to make opera run smoothly. Will discuss with kshah and get around to it... @kshah If u could kindly give a brief tutorial about which java files to install (because there are so many prc's in the websphere java that I downloaded, just give me name of essential prc files to install), and then how to increase memory in java to make opera run smoothly...
  6. Treo Messenger send messages to specified contacts or group of contacts on specified date and time - like birthdays or anniversaries etc. Palm Messenger is an IM based on Windows Messenger
  7. Chrome - Browser By Google.

I dont know how u faced such a problem. Because I have loaded Rimweb in Chrome and also from both IE7 and Firefox and it loads at least 20% faster in chrome. Could be first time loading into cache. try loading next time and then see the difference... Because Speed is the ONLY plus point with Chrome right now...
  8. OK Mates, so I have compiled a list of My Favorite Treo Softwares (most of them freeware but very powerful) See attached zip file These include: 1.Butler (best for upto 6 alarms/mp3, custom designed, control led, Keyguards and many more) 2.Phone Technician (Increase phone volume, and many more) 3.Minitones (to set mp3 as ringtones and trim them also) 4.SharkMsg (to automatically send text message on missed calls/call reject) 5.audiogateway (for listening to music on A2DP Stereo Bluetooth Headphones) 6.Resco Explorer 7.Group Text Messaging 8. nvbackup (best backup software I have seen, backups everything, messages, calls, contacts, programs, ringtones, and then u can selectively restore also, automatic backups) 9.Treo Messenger 10. Palm Messenger 11. keygen 12.xiino (browser-not very good also) 13. Call Recorder (To record In call conversations) 14.Snap (To take Screen Snapshots) 15. Easynotes (Combining All 3 - Text, Pen (Hand written) and Voice notes) I am very happy with the performance till now, except for the net browsing which is weak (because I have gotten used to Opera Mobile) http://rapidshare.com/files/142799101/My_F...o_Softwares.zip
  9. ^^^^ Ditto, Install HP_Rel_Settings.cab, reboot, then open text messages-Menu-tools-options-Tap Text messages-ensure that Request delivery notifications is ticked. You can also disable delivery notifications from here if u do not require them.
  10. Chrome - Browser By Google.

I wont be going back to my IE7 anytime soon after using the speed of Chrome.... Its too good, for whatever I am browsing....
  11. Htc Mogul Comm Manager Problem

Something is wrong in the way u have loaded your ROM. Kindly Reload your ROM (after taking prior backup of your data/contacts). That should solve yr problem. I advise u load the latest Sprint ROM as per step by Step guide give in that topic. And let me know what all settings u did in QPST, because u are supposed to load only the reliance.prl in the roam tab. Who did u procure the phone from, because Sadikk must have given with all other settings done.
  12. New Smart Phone From Palm

Go for a lower end phone then... not smartphone. There are many topics running in this forum for many FM phones, kindly search and post future posts there, not here.
  13. New To Treo!

^^^^ What phone are u using. You have not mentioned the model no. If it is Treo 755p then kindly do not open new topics on whim, when one topic is running. Kindly post all queries in the Treo 755p topic, in future... Anyways, from what I gather, if the vision services message is coming, that means u have not properly configured your phone to reliance settings. First check whether you have created a new connection by the name of Rel Netconnect. Go to Preferences-Network-Services. If it is there, select it, if not create it. To create Click Menu Button (Lowest in Right Corner) and select New-It will show untitled-give it the name RelNetConnect- Connection should be High Speed Wireless, Username and Password will be your 10 digit Reliance Phone no., Untick Mobile IP Tab in Details. In Advanced IP Address should be Automatic (Ticked), Query DNS should be Ticked. You should be able to connect to Internet by selecting and making this your default connection. You may also create a similar RelMobile World connection where the username will be "UTS@relianceinfo.com", password-kindly search the forum, as I dont remember. If for some reasons you are still not able to do so, then we will have to check your service programing data- Dial ##data# (##3282#) and u will come on data main screen. You will have to click modify and enter your SPC (u should have changed it to 000000 otherwise enter your correct spc) and u will have to change the parameters. After unlocking, enter username - (anything u like-preferably your name without spaces), then enter password (anything), HA password (anything), ensure IP address is automatic (ticked),. Then go to next menu by pressing the Menu Button (Lowest in Right Corner), the go to Browser - enter one "0" in port in both Pri NGG and Sec NGG, then go to Advance, Unlock, then enter as follows: Vocoder EVRC:1, Home NID:65535, Home SID: 14655, MCC: 404, MNC: 0, ACCOLC: (should be last digit of your MIN), Home Sys Reg:1, FNID:1, FSID:1 - Click OK. After loading Reboot once again. You should be able to connect to internet. Remember, any further queries post in Treo 755p topic ONLY and give reference of this post...
  14. New Smart Phone From Palm

@nitin In 99% proper Smartphones, u will not get FM, its for (edited)... (except in the Chinese Junk) Then in FM phones, u wont get Wi-Fi. But u can use Internet Radio in all these smartphones... So choose accordingly... If Wi-Fi is very necessary ... go for Mogul Otherwise if Phone is first priority then Treo U must realise the choices are limited in CDMA due to wrong policy of our promoters (ADA) ....
  15. @kshah Kalpak, accidents happen with u also.... Anyways if any way to get sms notification in current ROM (ver 1.07) do let us all know.... (I dont need it, In fact it is a pain in my Mogul to keep on deleting the delivery notifications that I get all the time, but just want to know, because of why not...) Browser is troublesome, slows down from time to time (because its designed for EVDO and not 1x), Some good browser needed.... Also some shortcut way to disconnect the Connection and to remove the the arrows that remain even after disconnection without reboot... (as we had discussed) Email checking is very fast. Rworld connecting Perfectly. I have enabled Proxy settings in browser.
  16. Chrome - Browser By Google.

Dont blow it off. Give it some time. I have started using it. Specially the Home Tab thing which shows are your recently used pages - its quite good. Of course I am missing auto refresh, but give it some time and this will be a thing to watch in the future...
  17. Urgent! Reliance Prl Table.

Master Subsidy Lock, it is used to change to Reliance MIN & MSID settings straight from our phone unlike our Mogul where we do that in QPST/CDMA workshop
  18. @vijay Yes, absolutely (Pls note that I have also installed HP_Rel_Settings.cab)
  19. Urgent! Reliance Prl Table.

ES* will always be in reverse when u check it in hex editor. e.g. if ur ES* is 12B3C588 then u will see it in the file as 88 C5 B3 12. Search like this for your ES* and u should find it at 3 locations and the u can do what u feel like with them (edit them). MSL and SPC will be visible on right hand side as 6 numeric digits, search for 6 numeric digits together, u will find only 2 locations, change to 000000. Address may sometimes vary from phone to phone and hex editor to hex editor. You can also get your SPC by using GetSPC.exe (search it) and feeding your original ES* in input and then note down output - that is ur SPC and then search that 6 digit no. on right hand side of the file in hex editor. And nearby to that SPC, 4-5 rows up or down u will find ur MSL also (also in 6 digit).
  20. Htc Mogul Comm Manager Problem

@devajit It seems you have either not created or assigned the correct data connection. Because after loading the 3 cab files Netconnect and Mobileworld connections are automatically created. You may have deleted the Sprint Connection before assigning the default connection to RelMobileworld. Pls ensure that u have followed the procedure properly for loading Sprint Original Rom and deleted the OTA Folder (if u found it) and also the HT_CM_Guardian file as per that topic. And also ensure u have loaded the 3 Reliance cabs file properly, before proceeding. What u do now is to go to Start-Settings-Connections-Connections and see what connections are being displayed (let me know) If none are displayed then click advanced-select networks-and here from top bar select RelMobileworld and you will be able to connect to internet. For using Net Connect - select Rel NetConnect instead of Rel MobileWorld from the drop down box on the top bar. Then Click edit -edit -next (here u should see connection name as Rel NetConnect and modem will be cellular line but will be grayed)-next (here u should see #777)-and now here enter your user name and password as your 10 digit Reliance No. - Then Click Finish and u are done. You will surely be able to connect to internet...
  21. It gives the SMS sent or failed message. It also shows SMS's in both Chat & Normal Style and you can select your preference unlike WM6.1
  22. @vishal couldnt get u - "modify the contacts databases"? meaning....
  23. @Vishal Yes, I have used the LG Phone charger absolutely successfully with the enclosed Sprint Charger Adapter (in the box) and hence you can use that adapter cable with the Phone Charger of LG (the Long Thin Pin Type - Looks like the New Nokia charger but the pin is longer)
  24. @vijay Both have their pros and cons dear friend... But right now, seeing the Treo's Simplicity and Power & of course the PRICE, I am getting inclined towards it. But if u use Wi-Fi and Net Browsing a lot on your phone, then the Mogul is for u. But if u want your PHONE first, with everything else thrown in, No Nokia or HTC can beat TREO (Palm based only, because Windows platform has some inherent flaws (slowness) which have not been rectified till date, as a phone system)
  25. New Smart Phone From Palm

Yes, SPC solution has been found. But not ES*. So it can work only on Tata as on date. Inherently it is a WM phone with the inbuilt shortcomings also of the Windows Mobile Platform. I would suggest u go for the Palm OS based Treo 755p at a very economical price point of 11-12K and a very very fast Palm OS. Read my review and comparison with HTC Mogul in the Treo 755p topic.
