The output is purely in Stereo, dear Anupe. I have been using it for a long time with my Sennheisers. What you need to know is that you need a 3 RING 2.5mm to 3.5mm jack converter and not the normally available 2 ring one i.e. there are 3 rings on the adapter jack, one for left channel, one for right and one for the mic. In the 2 ring one you will get mono output i.e. only left channel output and mic. I imported the 3 Ring adapter from ebay USA as I could not find it here in the local market. Switch to the 3 ring adapter and enjoy pure ipod quality stereo sound. (BTW I am listening to Exterminate by Snap right now). Pls confirm back how many rings are there on your 2.5mm headphone jack?

Yes, Gautam That is the problem we have been discussing for so much time. And it needs to be sorted out completely before we can start using this ROM fully. As per my last discussion with hetal a week back, he told me he would try and resolve it ASAP. I suggest in the meanwhile you can switch to the original Sprint 3.56ROM with reliance customisations, as already discussed elsewhere. @hetal Pls resolve this issue dear friend.

@harpreet Maybe you have some activation issues or you have not followed all the steps properly that is why 6800 is giving you problem. I have 2 6800 which I am using and no network issues at all. There were some at one instance and it turned out to be a Reliance issue. I was having problem directly on the 6800 as well as when I put that number's RUIM in some other mobile. That is why I was able to identify that it was a Reliance network problem with my particular phone ONLY. My other RUIM phones were working fine. So I complained persistently and spoke to their Network Department (available only between 10am-5pm) and they reset my number or something and the issue was sorted out. So try using your RUIM on some other phone and if that doesnt work fine then complain to Reliance. However if it works fine then try reprogramming your Mogul from scratch and most probably your problem will be sorted out. Because I have NEVER TILL DATE HEARD OF A FAULTY 6800 from SADIK. We are here to help, in any case...

I experimented yesterday night. Set my Connection to Reliance MobileWorld on my 6800 and browsed net through Opera for 5-6 minutes. Opened Gmail and Moneycontrol. Did not use phone thereafter till morning. Today morning checked balance. Deduction was of only 60paise on my Prepaid a/c. Surprising or what???

Dont be confused! HTC 6800 is any day better than 6900, though some of my friends using it will disagree (Hi, Anupe). Its form factor is quite slim from the earlier iteration of 6700. It has a 1500maH battery which is the strongest in the market today (BTW Nokia E90 has a 1500maH battery) and easily lasts 2 full days with heavy usage and upto 3 days with your kind of usage. You will be guided by forum members to upload software changes to make it operational with Reliance. You just have to be slightly computer savvy (otherwise no use purchasing this phone). Newer ROMs are updated frequently and it is up to you to decide which one you like - a fully loaded one or a faster but slightly less empowered one. My advise GO FOR 6800 (I have 2)...

^^^^ There are many topics that we are discussing which is not acceptable to Reliance. Even if we are helping people to unlock their LG Phones , that is illegal/against the norms according to reliance. Even if you are discussing one topic of any broken into software, that is against the norms of Reliance. Even if you are downloading any MP3 song (most of which are copyrighted) into your phone, that is ILLEGAL.

Hope you remember your SP* that you got from GetSP*. You should preferably change it to 000000 in CDMA workshop so that you do not have to remember it again, in SP* field with nv_write. Hope you have followed instructions by vijay and others to reload reliance.prl and your problem is solved.

Unlimited 1.1MBps at 500/- is a fantastic, superlative, unheard of plan. Still lacking hugely from US where 2MBps is standard for EVDO.

You can stop Sprint Customisations from running by doing soft reset when it has loaded the new Sprint ROM and it says on screen "Loading Sprint EXT ROM/Customisations (or something like that) in 3 Seconds" This message will appear the first time when you will load the Sprint ROM - You have to do Soft Reset at that point immediately when you see this message about loading Sprint Customisations.

Asit, It is going to be impossible. Because the things that we discuss in many of these topics is against the norms of Reliance. And if we do everything only as per Reliance guidelines, then what is the need of having such a forum - It amounts to absence of freedom of speech. This forum stands for Freedom to discuss even those things that Reliance considers as taboo, because it is only concerned with fleecing money and not in the true interests of its customers.

^^^^ If you have done the steps 2 to 6 above, earlier in March/April, then you do not need to repeat them. It means that HardSPL olipro must already have been loaded on your 6800 (but pls confirm pls, otherwise you can brick your handset) because without that you could not have changed e** M** in the first place. No need to do that again. You can straight away load this new ROM as per hetals instruction on first page of this post, and then you can proceed to load Hetals new rom (if you wish) after loading his ext ROM. But do remember not to let the Sprint Customisations run when this new sprint rom loads for the first time, otherwise you will have to load PRL again in QPST.

BTW original Sprint 3.56 ROM- RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.56.651.0_RS_TITAN_3.42.02_SPCS2.04_PPST_0718_Ship.exe released on HTC US site http://www.htc.com/us/FAQ_Detail.aspx?p_id=75&act=sd But it is slightly different in bytes from that on PPCGeeks and also PPST is 0718 instead of 0619 on PPCGeeks. Just for information. Ringtone problem on this rom will be solved by Hetal shortly.

I have compiled a list of entries for registry key editing to get the default sounds, in the attached notepad file. Please use it and reset values as shown in that file. It should get your default dtmf tones back. Do let me know if it was successful in solving the issue. default_tone_settings_touch.txt @Anupe No mate, its not changing. The String Value in each of the entries change back to "\Windows\dpadctl.mid" after using the keypad. Donno why? And the monotonous Key Tone remains. Have loaded the vibrate cab again. At least something is better than nothing LOL. And on Vibrate cab, the no. press speed also increases. Pls suggest remedy... Edit: Problem solved, did hard reset (which was due anyway)

Hetal is little busy and will sort out Ringtone Problem by next week, probably... Cheers to All.

I just installed this and also uninstalled it. The thing is that the Keypad tones have changed after uninstalling this. Now I hear a monotonous tone after each key press instead of the Standard Keypad Tones which were different for each number. Could anybody Pls give me a resolution for this (any registry entry) without Hard Reseting my device, so that I can return to the Standard Keypad Tones. Anupe/Others - Help Please. Thanks in advance...

^^^^ It is definately a Reliance problem. I am using National Roaming everywhere. You can check by putting your RUIM card (if it is with you) in some other phone and check. Otherwise call Reliance CC and talk to them and explain your problem persuasively. @jabir Cant change ringtone - strange? @hetaldp could you pls look into this small irritating issue. Thanks a lot.
