I would suggest you go for Treo 755P from Sadik at sub 10K for BB type full qwerty keyboard and fast, very fast operating system and simple to use with all features like push mail etc.... and BTW Blackberry has not been broken into for reliance, even unlocked ones from US For ultimate Windows experience there's no beating our Mogul...

International Roaming will come, if you have let the Sprint EXTROM to load while loading Sprint 3.56 ROM. You have to soft reset the phone immediately after the sprint main rom loads and just before the EXTRom starts to load. Try hard reset and load again. Load Hetals rom and load reliance.prl in QPST again, pls note again... It will try and connect to net if you click the weather icon or something that needs to be updated. Use wi-fi or net connect to load weather update once, disconnect and then dont click weather icon frequently. @vijay - what is your experience of this rom?

I have been using assembled computers from Nehru Place for more than 20 years now. In 99% of cases I did not need service within the warranty period because the components I had bought were of reputed manufacturers. In any case for replacing within warranty period you will have to go to the Authorised Service Centre, but thats a small price to pay when the price is escalated by 30-40% by local shops and 100-200% if you give it a Brand Name. You would rarely require service if assembled properly. AMC can be taken by 3rd party if necessary. However the object of this forum is to make our members self reliant and not be fleeced by local computer shops in the name of providing better service. All good manufacturers are providing Nation wide service nearest to your home. A case in point would be my Acer 4710 Laptop purchased on bill from the same shop about 9 months back at a saving of about 3000/- from the lowest price available anywhere else, whose left mouse key is sticking and needed service. I thought I would have to go to Delhi, but when I called Acer Service they told me a service centre has opened in Meerut itself and I could go there and get it rectified free of cost. Just for information...

I do go to Delhi often and live near Nehru Place whenever there. But thats no reason not to look for the best deal. These are exact street prices which anybody going there gets with No Bargaining. Can diego be used to to make my old 6265 RUIM based. If so, a brief step by step method would be most appreciated.

You can always check in Settings-System-Device Information -Radio Version. If it is more than 3.35.04 , you have upgraded. Greatest-I think its too early for you to go for customised ROMs, stick to either original or already cooked roms by experts.

If you have not upgraded the Radio in your created ROM, you can surely revert back to Sprint 3.35, otherwise not. You can install Hetal's Extended ROM cab files one by one, given as reliance.cab in HTC tweaks

I think you have to set Mip as Simple IP only in QPST

Sprint has not officially released this 3.49 rom till date. it is doing rounds in many forums since many months. To check when sprint is launching which version for Mogul follow this link Sprint is still promoting March 10, 2008 dated 3.35.651.2 ROM only.
