Thanks for the code Gaurav, but it is not working. Username is my Device Name/Owner Name and code as you have entered. It says your registration code is not correct. @harish - No man, what you have posted is a trial version of 30 days. Recheck at your end.

@sanjeev - In WM, the operating system is saved on the internal ROM. So whenever it gets too corrupted you can do hard reset (layman for - reinstall OS again) and voila your operating system is back. - But your data will get lost like contacts, SMS, etc. which you can always backup to Outlook and SMS etc. through a program called PIM Backup (other options are also available for backup) and you can restore all this data after a hard reset. So, yes we can reinstall WM6 again. (We are in fact running on 6.1) -SPB shell is just a program to give better visual appeal to your WM and has lots of utilities also. -Yes you can use GPS with both Tata and Reliance.

Anyways, I think the ones I sent you before are better amit, because they allow you to send messages to the Groups (categories) you have made in your contacts, in one go. In Jeyo you have to select each name independently. However it does allow you to send via PC, therefore do forward the registration code if anyone has got one.

^^^^ Go to My Controls - Personal Profile - Edit Profile Information -Reliance Mobile Handset - HTC Mogul PPC 6800 (its listed alphabetically - whats the problem) G Rom is not so heavy. I am facing no problems. Its got so many programs. For any problems contact me in G Rom Topic. Just keep doing a soft reset once/twice a week and it will be just fine. Soft reset is needed even with Sprint Rom.

^^^^ I think for the time being, stick to Hetals G ROM. It is working absolutely fine for me on 3.35 Radio. No Problems at all. BTW now at least change your handset model from Nokia 6275 to PPC 6800

2 GB here in India is for 500/- approx and 8 GB (in India) is approx 2500/-. So you weigh your pro and con. What is your usage etc. Also 2 GB would be normal SD while 8 GB would be high speed SDHC which is approx 2-6 times faster than SD (depending upon Class purchased). I suggest you go for 8GB and keep original 512MB for emergency booting (like for unbricking your phone). If you have Credit Card and Paypal and Ebay account, refer to my link above and purchase card directly from US for approx 2000-2100/-

I think you will have to load Sprint's option as default and later on manually add Hetals Extended ROM. When your ROM boots for first time and it says 3 second to load extended ROM, reset your PPC and dont let the extended ROM load. Load extended rom from Hetals Ext ROM and you will be OK.

@hari The cost of using GPS on Google Maps is of Rworld/Rconnect charges and not of GPS. GPS is free. Because Google Maps uses Rconnect to load Maps from its site. Thats why I was talking of offline Google Maps which can be copied to my memory card and then I can use GPS on google maps without the need to load maps online by Rconnect. I have bought it from ebay USA by seller fastmemoryman cost Rs. 2000/- approx (including shipping) Here the Link

Just some info needed. I am on 3.35 Radio. What happens in my case if I want to build up a ROM? I am waiting to upgrade to 3.49 radio once Sprint officially releases it for its customers because as of now only 3.35 ROM is officially available on Sprint's site. Talk about good CC from Sprint (very unlike our Reliance which never once released a update for my previous 6700).

Friends, Read PC World India Survey. Airtel is no.1 (wherever available-that's a limitation) in terms of speed, connectivity, CC and downtime. And its not just PC World, but I can vouch for it as a actual user of Airtel. I was previously on BSNL unlimited plan for several years and switched to Airtel as soon as they launched service in my area about 1 year back. And I can assure you they are indeed the best. I am on 256KBPS Unlimited plan for 900/-. Earlier my max. download speed was 30kBps corresponding to 256KBPS as offered by the other competitors also. Even on BSNL I never got a speed of more than 30kBps on unlimited plan. But since last 3 months I am noticing that I am downloading at a speed upto 55kBps. They have automatically upgraded me to 512 KBPS without any extra/additional charges to me and also without any info to me. And believe me, its fantastic speed, that I am getting, that too in unlimited plan, upto 55kBps download. Its never been down (unlike BSNL which has frequent breakdowns), Customer Care is very responsive and problems (if any) gets sorted out in hours (not days).

@Anupe - Your clock has gone 1 hour ahead because you must not have unticked the DST Mode in Time zone. My clock has gone back half hour after using destinator. That was quickly reset by Settings-Phone-Services-Time Synchronisation-Automatically update time and date from Service Provider. I have also copied the destinator folders to my memory card as suggested by ABC and now it is also working from Quick Launch Tab on Todays Screen-GPS (in hetals G ROM) and also from Programs (left it both main memory and micro SD) But unfortunately destinator does not have map of my city "MEERUT". If anybody know where to download, pls tell. Will try destinator when in Delhi. Google Maps has got my city's map but then it costs to use it and there are no voice prompts, but it does have sattelite view and is more precise than destinator. If we could add voice prompts to Google Maps and get Offline Google Maps (because I have imported a 8GB Card), wouldn't that be deadly... karki-help needed.

Also note that for using Rworld, you have to change connection setting from Rel NetConnect to Rel MobileWorld in settings-connections-connections-advanced-select networks. Also after selecting Rel MobileWorld, leave default settings on i.e. do not enter your own phone no. and password in Hetals G ROM for Rel MobileWorld connection. That has already been fed by hetal. BTW Sanjay you can always chat with me here.

First time my 6800 also did not run Rworld. A hard reset solved the problem. Pls ensure you copy Hetals extended ROM onto the Memory Card properly and do hard reset as detailed by him. It will copy all files from Memory card when it loads extended rom. If that does not work, manually load the 3 files from his extended rom, the names of which I am skipping right now, which you can find on a similar post in HTC forums. read them and you will find a solution. I think a hard reset and proper loading of Hetals EXt ROM will solve your problem fully, as it did mine.

Better go in for Palm 755P from Sadik at below 10K than these handsets. Palm is several times better and feature rich at such affordable price.

If once you have upgraded your ROM to 3.49, I dont think you can go back to 3.35. Try loading 3.49 ROM.

Blackberry is an independent email provider service, slightly different from other email providers. It claims to have the fastest email service by which email reaches the receipient in less time than others. However their claims are highly exagerated. It provides immediate email on your mobile like SMS and charges you out of your skin for that. Push mail by Microsoft is something similar but it will not be fully operational on Reliance till we get EVDO.

@jabir I think your GPS is not properly activated. Go to QPST again and initiate GPS settings as detailed in Dummies Guide. The GPS tabs have to be clicked again to activate them fully in QPST (they are greyed by default, after clicking the tick mark becomes white). If that is OK then read the post by ashoksoft about Finding your way in 6800. It has got detailed settings, check those also. Read the above post by Anupe and enable the com ports and baud rate as detailed by him. You should get it running. @anupe BTW what are your comments on rahuja's post above?

@Anupe Thanks a lot Anupe, will try and let you know. BTW you are not facing any problems while running destinator like PPC clock slowing down etc.
