^^^^ Once RUIM is active you can use with any CDMA Carrier & No you can't toggle between CDMA provider and SIM Card one. Because they are 2 different technologies - CDMA and GSM, and the handsets are not inter-operable.

^^^^ There is no such program for restoring phone to existing condition but let me assure you, if it is a Reliance enabled original HTC India phone, there will be NO problem with hard reset except that your data that you have entered after purchasing the phone which will be erased. For backing up contacts, use active sync 4.5 or higher which must have come on your CD (or you can download it free from microsoft site- google it) to back up your contacts to Outlook, from where you can always restore it to your phone after hard reset. For your other data/programs that you have loaded, you can backup to your memory card. For SMS's etc you will have to use a dedicated backup program like PIM Backup, for which you will have to search this forum (there is thread running: Softwares for s720 - search it) . But I am not too sure whether PIm Backup is compatible with your model of smartphone. You can use Jeyo mobile companion for that - link in that forum.

^^^^ Any New versions coming for 6800 also? My 6800 will be here in a week's time and your ROM HAS TO GO INTO IT...

In the usual HTC Phones, Hard Reset is usually done by pressing the Left and Right Soft Keys and the Reset Button, all 3 together. If it is original Reliance Enabled Phone by HTC India, then all Reliance System Settings will automatically reload from the extended ROM during the boot up. This is usually mentioned in the users manual that you must have got with the phone. But I think in the case of S720 there is no physical reset button, so you will have to go to start-accessories-clear storage and follow instructions thereafter to restore phone to factory settings (i.e. is known as hard reset). If that doesnt do it then remove the battery for 30 seconds, then reinsert. Then restart (power on) the phone holding the left and right soft keys simultaneously. Follow any on screen instructions. I think that should do the trick. Kindly try it and let us know if this was successful....

^^^^ I think you should wait a little bit longer. Let Big TV Launch and then I am sure even Tata will offer a cheaper alternative. Wait for 1 month more.

Issue: How do I know the battery power in a PowerShot camera? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Solution: Battery power indicator on a PowerShot camera Under normal conditions NO BATTERY METER is displayed in the Display of the Low Cost Power Shot cameras. Battery Status Indications come on only when battery is low. The LCD monitor displays an icon or message to let you know when batteries are low or depleted. and mean that the Batteries are beginning to run low. Replace (or recharge) batteries promptly. If the LCD monitor is off, A Low battery icon icon will appear when you press any of the following buttons: Display/Flash or Macro/MF When "Change the batteries" appears in the display- Batteries are fully depleted and the camera can no longer operate. You should replace the batteries immediately. Hope that helps... For more detailed information go to the Canon Usa Site.

^^^^ Canon A 720IS is a 8MP, 6x zoom, 2.5" LCD, Digic III, slightly bulky (200g) camera which use 2AA batteries. It should shoot 140 images on Alkaline Batteries and approx. 400 images on NiMh Rechargeable Batteries. I hope you have also bought 2 good Rechargeable NiMh batteries of at least 2500 to 2800mH and a charger (Uniross is a good brand). There is a battery indicator in the display inside the screen, which if not visible, can be made visible by settings in the Menu-Display-Show Information.

^^^^ When it doesnt support Rconnect, what do you need the cable driver for?

Htc Mogul Ppc 6800 & Htc Mogul Touch Ppc 6900! Cons, Prons, Issues, Reviews, Etc.!

^^^^ I also really loved the Touch and would have gone for it blind-folded else for wi-fi. I dont care much about the keyboard also as I was already having a 6700 and I hardly used the keyboard in that because I developed a good speed with the on screen key board for SMSing etc. However dont go by the reviews at PPCgeeks etc. Why? Because they have EVDO as standard all over the US and they are using EVDO for broadband internet and not wi-fi. So wi-fi does not make much of a difference to the guys in US. However it does to us if we have to keep our data bills low (as Reliance is going to fleece us to the ends of our skin - kyonki sarkar unki muthhi mein) As far as Snob value goes, Touch is already introduced in India since last 1 year in GSM (and that has wi-fi too) and people have seen it. But no ones seen the Moghul here. All iphone themes and GPS works on Moghul too. And BTW I never used GPS on my Nokia E90 till date (quite impractical). Well finally its a personal choice and I think you have made a good one but I am sticking with the Moghul... -
^^^^ If you are not a prof photographer, I suggest you go for Nikon L14 which runs on 2 AA Batteries and gives 1000 shots on Lithium and 600 on Rechargeable AA. Gives pretty decent shots for 5x7 prints. However go in for Canon only if you are ready to pay double the price but better picture quality. Do remember the obsolence rate of Digital Cameras is very high specially in the point and shoot category, so no point investing too much. If you really want an ultimate, go for Canon IXUS 860IS costs about 14-15K. It is camera of the year on most international sites. Because I bought one, absolutely fabulous, 8MP, 3" display, great video, and 28mm wide angle lens, fits easily into your pocket. Dont go for higher 960IS which is 10MP but only 2.5" display. Do remember 28mm wide angle has great use for group photographs, which is usually missing in most cameras except Panasonic and now only some models in Canon. But do consider your BUDGET and the COST of camera and the time you are going to keep the camera with you before taking a final decision. I can also suggest you a shop in Palika Bazar as you are in delhi. Hope this helps ....

^^^^ So which one are you going for Anupe - Moghul or Touch. I am going in for the bulkier Moghul only because of Wi-Fi. -
I personally use a Canon S5 IS with wonderful results. But I recently bought a Nikon L14 for a relative, for just 4500/-, on ebay india under special promotion scheme with all taxes and shipping, and I must tell you it is worth every penny. It has 7 MP, 2.4 inch screen and the videos are in fact better than its photos. It supports SD HC cards. though the image quality is not comparable to my Canon S5 and its a little slow between shots but what the heck, I can buy 4 of these for 1 S5. It also fits very nicely in my jeans pocket. So if anybody wants usability & practicality at throw away price this is the DigiCam to go for.

^^^^ Rahuja sahab, You are now the official customer care for 6900 on RIMweb. Keep it up...

^^^^ Congratulations Chandan on having your problem solved. Any big company whether Sony or anyone else should have a relatively good service backup system. At least you were able to contact higher ups in Sony and get your problem solved. You just have to be persistent with these lot. On the whole Sony products are good and reliable and should be recommended.
