It will work anywhere in India as long as you can get hold of the box; I dont think its available online; you will need to get it delivered at some metro city address (most likely delhi address) or purchase it from some dealer in delhi who has its stock and then dont get it installed at that delhi address but you can request for its installation at your home city; this is what I did and it worked... -

Best would be to stick to good old crt's for a while for watching sd broadcast; no use investing in hdtv or hd setup if you watch just sd.... -

^ No ads while watching the matches in HD alone makes it worth it... lolz... I too havnt tried recording much and I think I should have gone for the normal Hd box rather than + one...; maybe I will take out the hdd and use it separately to recover my money.... lolz... -

^ most of the guys at hifivision are "fools" (even their moderator) though I agree with your findings that 99% of the broadcast in India is in sd and NOT meant for any HD TV's being sold today; why people buy blindly is why marketing works in India; HDTV's in India should be meant to enjoy HD content via BD disks or BD rips ONLY as of now; (they should make it mandatory to print a warning for the same on all the boxes of HDTV's... lolz) Only watching HD broadcast of the World Cup is some consolation but watching other SD content on these TV's is a real pain to any purist... And dont be fooled by the adverts that other service providers are much better (like they point on hifivision towards Dish and others - they are fools fools fools) - they are equally if not marginally better or worse... Until they spruce up all or most channels to minimum 720p these hdtv's and boxes should be relegated to watching hd content only; But a start needs to be made and nothing happens overnight anywhere in the world and the hd broadcast of the world cup cricket is a start and a benchmark moment in indian television history as was the colour broadcast of the 1985 Asian Games.. more to come... PS - Just Watched the 8 GB rip of Star Wars III - Revenge of the Sith - in full hd and dolby digital surround - It was pure nirvana... -

The Most Awaited MNP Finally Introduced!
dkaile replied to SumitVerma's topic in Mobile Number Portability (MNP)
vaise, has our life changed after mnp? NO are we getting better services after mnp? NO I just see import and export of customers in search of something drastically better... and the net result... all the hooligans are in fact same... -
this reboot issue is definitely a reliance specific issue as cases pertaining to this with this regularity are rare in us forums... maybe a data throttling or prl issue...

^ Received my Logitech Harmony 525 Remote - the functionality is amazing; the learning capability is out of this world; It even learnt my 15 year old Napoleon A/C (assembled) Remote perfectly and even named the functions as written on remote; I can set activities or also control each device individually; I am amazed to see this technological wonder.... must have for all; It "actually" replaced my 7 remotes;

Somehow I never liked black colour in indian conditions; Its a firangi (english) concept to have black colours in vehicles; It doesnt go either with our climate or our environment; It absorbs more heat in already over-sunny conditions in India and overheats the car leading to less air-conditioning efficiency; It attracts dusts in the already over-dusty Indian roads; It attracts scratches in the already over-crowded India streets and those scratches are more visible in this dark shade; It is also inauspicious to go for black colour in our culture as it stands for death and evil ... I would advice you to go for lighter shades in any colour rather than black...

yes, even sandisk 16gb is actually 14.8gb (just 0.2 gb more than this)... the standard formula is actually 0.93 x mfg specified capacity = actual capacity (this applied for generally most drives) i.e. 0.93 x 16 = 14.88, so we are very near PS - This is simpler explanation of rajan's post above.... lolz...- 6,376 replies

I was waiting like crazy for this and this has been a huge disappointment; I have not got the OTA update till now, otherwise I would have done it already and faced the music like you all; busy with other things in life, thats why missed this mellee' somehow... this seems a reliance centric issue as very few people are facing this issue in US (only those that use modded roms/configs like us), hence there is little hope that we will get any solution from them... shame on you samsung...
