^ seems to be a rom related issue rather than battery issue, as battery can't go bad before 1 year at least; I am getting fullday battery life with data+wifi on 24x7; check to see that all auto updation of facebook/twitter sync and any other sync is set to at least 4-6 hour interval.... if not, revert to stock di18 using odin to flash it...

exactly amit... I too have thought many times of leaving reliance, but always fall short due to the ultra low cost of my latest handsets (at least 10-12K less than the gsm counterparts) and unbeatable unlimited 1x packages and lowest tarrifs... even after heavy usage my total monthly bills hardly cross 5-600 bucks and thats unbeatable anywhere in the world with 24x7 data...

Upgrading To Gingerbread 2.3.4 On Samsung Galaxy-S Gsm
dkaile replied to dkaile's topic in Other handsets
^ uninstalling any app you have installed (like e.g. 1clicklagfix) is to be done through settings-apps like you would do for any other app... duh... I thought that was evident... the solution I have posted is NOT for lag fix but for unbricking your phone if it gets stuck on black screen after froyo update... @all - there is some inherent lag is Samsung Galaxy-S GSM which was there since beginning and is still there even after froyo update but I found that it reduces itself with time... otherwise you can use 1clicklagfix or similar again after froyo update.... -
@skssha - I think this is not the topic for phone comparison.. this is the more appropriate topic for your question - Kindly post your query there or read that topic to reach a conclusion...

Upgrading To Gingerbread 2.3.4 On Samsung Galaxy-S Gsm
dkaile replied to dkaile's topic in Other handsets
^ Only thing is that people dont follow some basic's of andoid while updating; If you do a factory reset while in 2.1 and then upgrade and then again do a factory reset after coming on 2.2 before starting to use, you will have zero lag issues... this is equivalent to wipe through custom recovery... jfyi... -
