I was thinking of buying a Netbook for my kids, but instead went in for the Toshiba full fledged laptop with dvd drive, 2gb ram, 250gb hdd, chicklet type keyboard with separate numeric keypad, at the price of a netbook at 22K... and I am totally satisfied with that decision; The laptop is running absolutely smoothly on Windows 7 Ultimate and giving full all round pleasure... do keep this option open for netbook users if u can do with about 4 hour battery life...

people are so naive to believe all the crap shown on tv... no business can survive in india without giving bribe... either directly or indirectly... whether tata or anyone else... some give more some less... some give in cash some in kind... thats the naked truth... -

Yes, I realised the difference yesterday, when I used a Nexus One on 2.2 (about to get 2.3 soon) yesterday and the touch response was quite laggy compared to the Epic. Epic's touch response has set a industry benchmark in my ho...

^ As I said in another topic, I dont agree with this Techtree's assessment and ranking of these phones. It is seemingly biased and I know what hardware specs have gone into each of these phones... so I would recommend the "prospective buyers" not to follow this report blindly and kindly so a little more internet research before taking a final decision, as it is a very fluid market changing daily with new launches and products...

^ Under 10K?? how about under 3K... it may be under contract but can come around 5K... How will Android beat a Verizon iPhone? Sub-$50 price tags

No qwerty from Dell though, its a 5" mini tablet/smartphone - http://www.dell.com/...obile-streak/pd the qwerty is coming from motorola (droid pro) as a world phone (cdma+gsm); that could be the best bet for blackberry (read keyboard) lovers... http://www.motorola....D-PRO-US-EN.alt

Out the 2 phones above, I would suggest the HTC one (and stay away from any Sony phone for that matter) In medium budget Samsung Galaxy 3 is also very good choice; even cheaper is Galaxy 5 Other choices for you in higher budget - HTC Desire HD, Samsung Galaxy-S / Captivate, HTC Desire, Google Nexus One in that order...

Sony doesnt manufacture TRUE LED TV's still... you can call theirs pseudo led's... just remember this.... Samsung is the market leader in true LED for now...
