HTC Evo 4G Android 2.2 Froyo Update is Finally Here, Sooner Than Expected Just if you haven't noticed, today is August 3, 2010, the day when the HTC Evo 4G users were promised an Android Froyo 2.2 update and what really comes across as a pleasant surprise is the fact that the OTA update has already started reaching a number of users before the scheduled/expected time. Unlike the cases of many Android Froyo craving smartphones users across the globe, the Evo 4G users have gotten lucky as they did not have to indefinitely wait for the Froyo goodness to arrive, with their OTA update arriving on time. The HTC Evo 4G as it is has been a hot selling smartphone given its bright feature set and the ability to run on WiMAX bands and add to this the advantages that Froyo brings in, Evo 4G suddenly seems a complete package. The particular update for Evo 4G arrives with goodies such as USB tethering, voice dialing, Wi-Fi hotspot functionality and support for Adobe Flash 10.1. Another noticeable improvement is the ability to install applications to the removable storage options. There is also a new flashlight application which can be brought into use as a great amusement option. Another great advantage of the Froyo over the Eclair would be unbelievably better browsing speeds and you will realize this when you eventually have version 2.2 running on your Evo 4G handsets.

@saurav Pioneer sound quality is the best; better than Sony; do definitely invest in original genuine speakers (any good Japanese make either Pioneer or Sony) and 2 tweeters (1-2K extra) besides the 4 door/back speakers... I regret going for Dapic (chinese) in one of my smaller cars... if looks are more improtant than sound, go for the hyundai one otherwise 2 din systems are available in both Pioneer and Sony also (though little costlier).... @sumit thats what I said - perception... nothing much wrong with the shape though; its one of the few cars where 3 x 6' people like me can sit abreast in the rear seat... just perceived to be wrong...

Reliance Mobile And HTC Launch The 3G Android Phone HTC Wildfire In India
dkaile replied to Arun's topic in HTC
For wildfire its VERY HIGH pricing... Wildfire was supposed to be a sub 200$ (more like 100$) phone for the mass market... If they would have priced nearer to that target they could have sparked an android revolution.... and as usual, greed makes them miss the bus.... -

How To Refill Toner In Hp Printer 1Xxx Series Using Q2612A Cartridge
dkaile replied to Maulik.Parekh's topic in General Technical Discussion
^ What about the implanted chip in the toner? Doesnt that stop printing once its limit capacity is over (750 for the one that comes with the printer and 1500 for oem)? I think this was possible only before the chip was implanted in this ****ing toner cartridge... Great effort BTW +1 -
I request people to discuss and POST more hardware that THEY have bought. rather than getting stuck at one HP Laserjet only..... Topic Title edited from "My" to "Your".....
