we need to hack into this thing also soon.... lolz...
  3. ^ Nop, the body is still aluminum alloy (a patented apple product, with more aluminiun than stainless steel), only the band on side has been given a more stainless steel alloy finish... and these scratch test are ALL manipulated. Try doing these things on ANY phone (whether Incredible, Evo or iPhone) and you will GET scratches... try it if u dont believe me...all these screens are scratch RESISTANT NOT scratch PROOF
  4. Verizon HTC Incredible - The Beefed Up CDMA Nexus 1

BIG BREAKTHROUGH TO PLAY VIDEO FILES DIRECTLY WITHOUT CONVERTING - I found this while surfing xda and thought you could all find it interesting as I have seen many people looking for DivX players here (myself included :-) ) (should work on all android devices, tested by me on Incredible) This application can supposedly play Divx, Xvid, Mkv and RMB files. I have FULLY TESTED IT and at 1st glance it looks pretty good and all my avi files play directly now. I will continue to test and hopefully will no longer need to convert my files to mp4. If anyone is interested the app is not yet on the Market but can be downloaded from: http://rapidshare.com/files/400580481/Rock_divx_Player.apk It is a closed beta. And as of right now DOES NOT see the internal memory at all. Only the sdcard. It watermarks the fps in the upper right hand corner. But beyond that, it works beautifully. edit: just noticed that if you click on the DIVX icon twice while its playing it will get rid of the FPS watermark EDIT2: Enjoying Avatar directly on my Incredible in FULL HD, not a single stutter, thats the power of snapdragon...and loving my device more and more everyday...
  5. I never said plastic screen; Verizon's glass specifications to htc are of a higher rating than others; both evo and hero also have hardened glass but scratch resistance of incredible and eris is said to be of higher specifications...
  6. Incredible has better scratch resistant hardened glass; not evo... but not same specs as iphone4; some of iphone4's hardware like aluminum body and outer glass is best... though it lacks in processor, ram and many other aspects...

  16. Sprint HTC EVO 4G

I keep my incredible brightness at FULL at all times and also data on 24x7 and battery lasts full day; similar battery tests may be posted by evo user(s)... @parin amoled is sharper than lcd but the supplier is Samsung; and the cost over 3.7" is very high as of now, hence lcd is used here in evo...
  17. Some noticeable differences are – smaller screen of the iPhone 4 compared to others and also the lack of flash. The RAM for the iPhone 4 is marked “Unknown” but should be 512MB to support multitasking. The iPhone can record video at 720p with 30fps, while Droid Incredible and Nexus One records at 800 × 480 pixels, and EVO 4G at 1280 × 720 pixels. It is important to note that Only Apple’s new device iPhone 4 is supporting 802.11n WiFi though it is rumoured that the chipset on Incredible and Evo supports 802.11n though not enabled...

  20. 1st HTC EVO 4G on RIMweb - Check Out The Pics!

In my opinion, video conferencing can be said to be practical on a phone only if the service provider supports it; otherwise I dont see any sense doing that over wifi which is limited to within premises or very few hotspots, as better options exists... I would love to see the day when we would be video conferencing over Reliance network...
  21. Sprint HTC EVO 4G

@kshah I didnt expect that type of comment coming from you; we analyse without prejudice... little bit jokes apart, and that too only with friends... To put speculation at rest... EVO is a good phone. period... but NO phone is perfect...
