I wish I had a hero in hand and would have solved these issues in a jiffy... unfortunately not so.... only in scanning I have some problems.... LOL... Muffi... 3.5 khareedna padega... Kindly give a screen shot of the rom and radio versions....

^ I love all android phones; and would have given no two thoughts in going for the evo had it been a upgrade for me from the incredible. But at the moment in Indian conditions, it doesnt seem so.......

Always do battery pull reset after the rom update...

^ Hmmmm....... If this issue is being faced even by sprint users, then its definitely a serious data bug... hope it will get patched sooner than later....very strange that some users didnt face it... Update will come very soon, I hope... otherwise you can always downgrade to 1.5 rom and save the day...

First of all, all these settings and stuff is NOT FOR NEWBIES.... I presumed to have told that many times and one should be ready to play in QPST only if one has prior programming knowledge... YOU CANNOT SCREW YOUR HERO at any cost if you have some basic QPST knowledge... and NEWBIES kindly stay away...

mere khyal se meerut me ev hai hi nahi naa is liye mujhe itna farak nahi pada... only in delhi I get Ev and never stayed very long to test fully... so you are right on this marker...

^ other than corby, only official evdo enabled blackberry is your option for now or there is the newly launched HTC Galaxy but that could be very costly for such poor hardware at 19K. I saw some official evdo enabled balckberry on the forum for around 10-12k; kindly search them...

I am on evdo prl and have noticed NO drop in battery power ever... Aur Ev ka signal dekhne ka alag hi maza hai... chahe kaam naa karein.... LOL

^ I think this problem has occurred with people who were using patched eris 2.1 roms, which seems to have messed up their pri. Others on sprint based 1.5 roms are not facing any data issues...

^ LOL.... is it a phone box or a pack of eggs box.... or even better a KFC chicken tub.... surely sadikk will like it.... Accessories seem a frugal as Incredible; same charger and usb cable... Phone seems exactly like Incredible (except the bigger size of course but without the beautiful AMOLED screen of the Incredible); same glossy black front and latex rubber back, with red accents on camera and here and there...same RED As$ (LOL)... micro-sd is poorly placed and needs removing the battery (unlike Incredible).... I am NOT IMPRESSED.... Evo plans deferred.... will stick with Incredible...

Update: BLUETOOTH is working INCREDIBLE.... I transferred files to my Dell laptop without any problem and right now am listening to music on my Dell's Speakers playing from my Incredible.... WOW.... This is the BEST PHONE EVER encountered by me till date.... Could never do this with my iPhone....

Just checked FM Radio on Incredible here in Delhi and all I can say is WOW.... It scanned 12 Stations in a matter seconds.... Sound and Stereo Quality is INCREDIBLE through my Sennheisers.... even with screen off... Observation : - I am unable to set my choice picture on lock screen as I was able to do so on my Hero on 1.5; This is a 2.1 bug.... - Also be careful in downloading Live Wallpaper from Market. Read comments before downloading. I downloaded a Bugs Live Paper and it messed up my Verizon Default Scene (Theme).... had to hard reset. But the best part is that all data comes back within minutes of hard reset.... - I used SMS Backup and Restore to get all sms's back from my Hero on 1.5 into my incredible on 2.1. About 1200 sms's in 130 threads. All recovered perfectly. Files is saved as xls and editable on any PC... - How to take screen shots from your Incredible (as it is'nt rooted yet) - http://www.knowyourc...incredible.html - a power house of Droid Incredible guides - http://www.knowyourc...redible-guides/ - You can now SAVE all your Contacts to memory card and restore from it also. @anurag did you try restoring your PRI by doing this - For 1x Data on Reliance try this ##3282# - Edit - Enter SPC - Data Profile - Press Menu - Restore also the latest reliance prl should say 005 and not 001

@arun sms backup and restore is fantastic and it restored all my sms's from my Hero on 1.5 to My Incredible on 2.1...

^ data connection does NOT get disturbed on rom upgrade and remains at whatever was previously set...

prl update is a matter of seconds. Nothing should go wrong except you will loose rooting and that is not a issue for 99% people. So go ahead and update this rom...
