While we are still dilly dallying over 3G, the world has moved to 4G and Beyond.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWcobnRzU1o&feature=player_embedded# Now the question is should we not rally support for the cause to move straight to 4G?? (please no useless comments please, because we have had that by plenty) Poll included... -
We Are Crying For 3G... Here's 4G From Sprint...
dkaile replied to dkaile's topic in Other Broadband Discussion
We have to duck 3G right away otherwise 60,000 crore of infrastructure would have been invested in an outdated technology... we need to give 700 mHz spectrum to 4G... I will be writing to TRAI special committee shortly... We have to save India from this massive waste of money that we are about to undergo... -
^ In such a high tech device, do you think cooling solution does not exist; You are highly mistaken. Miniature fans are available as on date with liquid cooled solutions also can be added in; they can be made quite miniature in size; Keyboard is also touchscreen based with a rugged foldable base (see video again). Snapon foldable plastics can easily be incorporated below the keyboard to make it more rigid. The main thing is that HARDWARE EXISTS for making such a device AS ON DATE. Whether it is to someone's personal liking or not, is another issue....

Main Boards can easily be made foldable (even exist today) by connectors separating north and south bus... and graphics section... its as easy as 123... main thing was display which has been unveiled since 6-7 months...

-
^ Follow the root instructions to root your device - here Once rooted and having loaded the recovery image as per these instructions, you can enter the recovery mode pressing the Home Key+Power Key (release power key immediately) on your next reboot. There you will be able to see the recovery options including taking/restoring from a nandroid backup

^ Not possible to move my router as of now, as that would require cabling... I have already placed as high as possible on the GF room; I get excellent connection in my basement office below that room and also my personal bedroom right above that room; I need that its wireless signal somehow be amplified (by another router or some other option) so that I can get a better coverage in the remote room on first floor (of my children)... Kindly suggest minimum cost solution. Another Netgear Router costs just 1.5K and I am willing to invest in that... But how to configure it, is the ISSUE at hand...
