Aalok Video Splitter solved posted ....link Try choosing default iPhone MPEG-4 (*.mp4) format, 320x240 (not the 320x480 one) resolution, this worked the best... Though fast forward and reverse were a little laggy in a big file, but for the first time I could watch a full movie on a mobile phone...

My Google Maps is continuously ON in the background and keeps updating my location once in a while and I dont miss any call... On 1x you will miss calls only when you are actively using internet or downloading something, not otherwise; In the background when 1x is running, I hardly miss a call...

It is 99% accurate in cdma as per my experience. And the network problem with sms delivery has drastically reduced since the time it cropped up after the introduction of these new sms packs. Things are looking quite streamlined in the sms front now...

And this is what the Hero's User manual says - Making a 3-Way Call With 3-Way Calling, you can talk to two people at the same time. When using this feature, the normal airtime rates will be charged for each of the two calls. 1. On the Phone screen, enter a number and tap CALL Button. 2. Once you have established the connection, press Menu, tap Add call, and dial the number of the second participant. (This puts the first caller on hold and dials the second number.) 3. When you're connected to the second party, tap the Up arrow type of symbol . If one of the people you called hangs up during your call, you and the remaining caller stay connected. If you initiated the call and are the first to hang up, all callers are disconnected. To end the three-way call, press Power Button or tap End Call.

This is what the reliance site says - Call Conference Three is company Reliance Mobile's Conference Call feature enables you to connect with two (1+2) persons simultaneously and set up a virtual conference. This facility is not available for Reliance GSM customers. Features A maximum of three people (including you) can participate in a conference anytime. Any one can disconnect or drop off from the conference. If the initiator of the conference disconnects, then all three are disconnected and the conference call ends. A conference call can be set up with any telephone, regardless of the service provider. How to use (CDMA) Call the first person and wait until the call is connected. Put the call on hold by pressing the call key. Dial the second call. Wait until the second call gets connected. Once the second call gets connected, you have following options: Swap between the calls: Press 2 + call key. Drop the person you just dialled and connect to the one on hold: Press 1 + call key. Establish a three-way conference: Press 3 + call key. Once a conference has been set up, you cannot split the participants into two separate calls, until one of them disconnects.

@vandan Its your personal choice mate; but let me tell you I was using windows mobile for 5 years. My last phone was Touch Pro which in itself was a very capable machine. But after tasting Android, no way am I going back to WM. Hero's processor and ram is equal to TP2 and the size of applications if 5-10 times less. All applications are in bytes unlike windows which are in mb's. Android applications can be said to be similar to Palm applications. Very small in size & fast to install and uninstall. If keyboard is a necessity then go for TP2 but be aware that its very bulky and will nowhere be as fast as Android for the reasons already detailed above. Also upgrades in Android will come much faster than in windows. Even WM7 whose all details are nearly out is no match for Android 2.1...

I would suggest you put a reliance no. on this phone for some time to rule out any hardware issues; if the problem vanishes, then again change back to tata; if it persists then it should be a modem issue with your phone...
