  1. Would like a photographic comparison of both too, if possible...
  2. This has been one of the best phones of my life till date. The S3 and S4 batteries are diminutive in comparison and don't last a full days work. This is a complete workhorse. I got a S4 for my BIL (on his insistence) and that looks so downmarket. It's hard to believe that S4 is a Samsung!! Looks more like a Chinese crap to me. Note II on the other hand is a phone you can't go wrong with and after a few days of its usage all other displays will look... well, puny in comparison.
  3. @Hitesh Any trick for activation byepass on Sprint Note 2 on unrooted original rom?

  5. Review: Motorola Photon 4G

Nope, that didn't work either. In the sim toolkit, if I selected Roam, then I don't get the network at all. If home is selected then network and edge comes for a few seconds, after which data disappears. मेरे सैमसंग गैलेक्सी नोट २ द्वारा भेजा गया...
  6. Review: Motorola Photon 4G

Network mode is GSM; No data tracking; Data saver is off; Data delivery is enabled; So can't really figure out the issue with the Reliance GSM data on roaming.
  7. Review: Motorola Photon 4G

^ GSM roaming guard is off but domestic is grayed out. Who is your service provider? and what APN are you using. I am using rcomnet.
  8. Review: Motorola Photon 4G

My daughter is facing an issue in the Photon 4G that the Data does not work on Reliance GSM while roaming. There is some sort of roaming guard on domestic roaming which is not getting removed in settings. It is greyed out with no way to turn that roaming guard off. Please let me know some solution for this as she wants to change handset just because of this. The phone is stock.
  9. Buying a new car? Discuss here!

Wagon R CNG is the best in its category and that price range. Otherwise there are lots of options in higher price range. You may also consider some good automatics like Brio & Micra if budget permits. You should wait for the Eco Sport. It is only days away. It is a looker but smaller than Duster and can comfortably seat only 4. Rest it has a great diesel engine for a city SUV and also a award winning Eco-boost 1L engine in petrol. Here is a comparo of Duster vs Eco-Sport from Autocar - http://www.autocarindia.com/Feature/345946,ford-ecosport-vs-renault-duster.aspx/0
  10. lolz, one of the main reasons I don't let my kids touch my phone. Another Whatsapp phenomenon...
  11. ^ Gosh that's cheap!! Need to get this launched in UP asap as we are paying 6500/- yearly for the HD Mega Pack to Tata Sky.
  12. I am starting this topic with the view of sharing genuine medicinal facts and their herbal alternates. Being a manufacturer of allopathic medicines myself, I feel scope for alternates exists in the chemical conundrum - "10000 times stronger killer of CANCER than Chemo".. The Sour Sop or the fruit from the graviola tree is a miraculous natural cancer cell killer 10,000 times stronger than Chemo. Why are we not aware of this? Its because some big corporation want to make back their money spent on years of research by trying to make a synthetic version of it for sale. So, since you know it now you can help a friend in need by letting him know or just drink some sour sop juice yourself as prevention from time to time. The taste is not bad after all. It’s completely natural and definitely has no side effects. If you have the space, plant one in your garden. The other parts of the tree are also useful. The next time you have a fruit juice, ask for a sour sop. How many people died in vain while this billion-dollar drug maker concealed the secret of the miraculous Graviola tree? This tree is low and is called graviola ! in Brazi l, guanabana in Spanish and has the uninspiring name “soursop” in English. The fruit is very large and the subacid sweet white pulp is eaten out of hand or, more commonly, used to make fruit drinks, sherbets and such. The principal interest in this plant is because of its strong anti-cancer effects. Although it is effective for a number of medical conditions, it is its anti tumor effect that is of most interest. This plant is a proven cancer remedy for cancers of all types. Besides being a cancer remedy, graviola is a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent for both bacterial and fungal infections, is effective against internal parasites and worms, lowers high blood pressure and is used for depression, stress and nervous disorders. If there ever was a single example that makes it dramatically clear why the existence of Health Sciences Institute is so vital to Americans like you, it’s the incredible story behind the Graviola tree.. The truth is stunningly simple: Deep within the Amazon Rainforest grows a tree that could literally revolutionize what you, your doctor, and the rest of the world thinks about cancer treatment and chances of survival. The future has never looked more promising. Research shows that with extracts from this miraculous tree it now may be possible to: * Attack cancer safely and effectively with an all-natural therapy that does not cause extreme nausea, weight loss and hair loss * Protect your immune system and avoid deadly infections * Feel stronger and healthier throughout the course of the treatment * Boost your energy and improve your outlook on life The source of this information is just as stunning: It comes from one of America ‘s largest drug manufacturers, th! e fruit of over 20 laboratory tests conducted since the 1970's! What those tests revealed was nothing short of mind numbing… Extracts from the tree were shown to: * Effectively target and kill malignant cells in 12 types of cancer, including colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreatic cancer.. * The tree compounds proved to be up to 10,000 times stronger in slowing the growth of cancer cells than Adriamycin, a commonly used chemotherapeutic drug! * What’s more, unlike chemotherapy, the compound extracted from the Graviola tree selectivelyhunts down and kills only cancer cells.. It does not harm healthy cells! The amazing anti-cancer properties of the Graviola tree have been extensively researched–so why haven’t you heard anything about it? If Graviola extract is One of America ‘s biggest billion-dollar drug makers began a search for a cancer cure and their research centered on Graviola, a legendary healing tree from the Amazon Rainforest. Various parts of the Graviola tree–including the bark, leaves, roots, fruit and fruit-seeds–have been used for centuries by medicine men and native Indi! ans in S outh America to treat heart disease, asthma, liver problems and arthritis. Going on very little documented scientific evidence, the company poured money and resources into testing the tree’s anti-cancerous properties–and were shocked by the results. Graviola proved itself to be a cancer-killing dynamo. But that’s where the Graviola story nearly ended. The company had one huge problem with the Graviola tree–it’s completely natural, and so, under federal law, not patentable. There’s no way to make serious profits from it. It turns out the drug company invested nearly seven years trying to synthesize two of the Graviola tree’s most powerful anti-cancer ingredients. If they could isolate and produce man-made clones of what makes the Graviola so potent, they’d be able to patent it and make their money back. Alas, they hit a brick wall. The original simply could not be replicated. There was no way the company could protect its profits–or even make back the millions it poured into research. As the dream of huge profits evaporated, their testing on Graviola came to a screeching halt. Even worse, the company shelved the entire project and chose not to publish the findings of its research! Luckily, however, there was one scientist from the Graviola research team whose conscience wouldn’t let him see such atrocity committed. Risking his career, he contacted a company that’s dedicated to harvesting medical plants from the Amazon Rainforest and blew the whistle. Miracle unleashed When researchers at the Health Sciences Institute were alerted to the news of Graviola,! they be gan tracking the research done on the cancer-killing tree. Evidence of the astounding effectiveness of Graviola–and its shocking cover-up–came in fast and furious…. ….The National Cancer Institute performed the first scientific research in 1976. The results showed that Graviola’s “leaves and stems were found effective in attacking and destroying malignant cells.” Inexplicably, the results were published in an internal report and never released to the public… ….Since 1976, Graviola has proven to be an immensely potent cancer killer in 20 independent laboratory tests, yet no double-blind clinical trials–the typical benchmark mainstream doctors and journals use to judge a treatment’s value–were ever initiated…. ….A study published in the Journal of Natural Products, following a recent study conducted at Catholic University of South Korea stated that one chemical in Graviola was found to selectively kill colon cancer cells at “10,000 times the potency of (the commonly used chemotherapy drug) Adriamycin…” ….The most significant part of the Catholic University of South Korea report is that Graviola was shown to selectively target the cancer cells, leaving healthy cells untouched. Unlike chemotherapy, which indiscriminately targets all actively reproducing cells (such as stomach and hair cells), causing the often devastating side effects of nausea and hair loss in cancer patients. …A study at Purdue University recently found that leaves from the Graviola tree killed cancer cells among six human cell lines and were especially effective against prostate, pancreatic and lung cancers ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also KNOWN AS HANUMANPHAL IN Hindi, This is known as Hanumanphal in india and is a cousin of sitaphal in the fruit family, its medicinal properties are quite different from sitaphal, All recent research shows that this certainly has very strong anti cancer properties and some other benefits, this seems to be a miracle cure in cancer, some more info here - http://www.natureschemocare.com/index.html
  13. Medicinal Facts and Alternates

^ There are many lacunas in Indian laws. We also have to take into consideration that India is NOT the US of A. The quality of healthcare on the street and small towns and villages is not hidden from anybody. I have seen mostly quacks treating patients in hundreds of villages and small towns I have visited. I have seen them treating patients with horrendous techniques which would be punishable by law in most developed countries. But then we realise that if these people are taken out from the equation then who will give the people of these remote places healthcare facilities? The Government?? Forget it. They just don't have the infrastructure or finances to provide basic healthcare facilities to the general populous. These small doctors are the only hope for a vast majority of India. Now lets come to the drug manufacturers. Most manufacturers I know provide and manufacture good quality medicines. I have a theory in my factory that we will produce only those medicines which I can give blindly to my own children. Still the government, in the last few years, under pressure from some very big multinationals, is making laws very tougher for the small scale drug manufacturers. I have been producing medicines since the last 32 years without quality issues. But now the government wants that slowly all SSI Pharma manufacturers should shut shop and disappear. They are trying to implement US standard laws in a totally un-US kind of country. Where the government is NOT ready to provide us US level of infrastructure and corruption free environment BUT still wants manufacturing facilities, drug trials and unnecessary research studies of US levels. This is all a plot from many big US based Pharma giants to discredit and finish off local Indian manufacturers. And Ranbaxy can also be pawn in that. If they can discredit a big player like Ranbaxy then what hope do 100's of small drug manufacturers like us have? Once they finish off our type of small manufacturers, they will rule the drug market and you all will have to purchase only drugs from US manufacturers. And slowly but steadily they will increase prices to US levels in the lack of any competition from domestic players and very soon you will be paying 10 times more for your healthcare needs then what you are paying today. Do give this side of the story also a thought...

^ I had posted that blog about Ranbaxy a few days on my Facebook, Twitter and TBhp accounts. Must have forgotten to post here. Yes, its a interesting read and eye opener for all us people especially from the medical field.
  15. Cheap but good quality 1080p player. Though cheaper are available, it seems good quality, handles 2TB HDD, no lag/heating in 30GB video files . Costs about 2800 bucks. http://dx.com/p/mini-1080p-h-264-rm-rmvb-full-hd-media-player-with-hdmi-sdhc-usb-host-av-optical-50567 SKU 50567 Review here Part 2
  16. Movies That You Loved (Or Hated) - Part II

Star Trek - Into Darkness (2013) - 2.5 Star Rating - Disappointing to say the least. The first movie of the current series of the ongoing space soap opera had so much promise and guile that this second one looks meek and unattached in comparison. It has a very weak screenplay which is nowhere as taught and gripping as the first one. But then a true trekky will watch it nonetheless.
  17. Samsung Galaxy S IV - The Next Big Thing!

    ^ looks exactly like a smaller Note2
  18. Buying LED from USA

You will get at same rates at Gaffar Market in Delhi; why take so much hassles.
  19. On an off note, now we know why Chinese economy is the most productive in the world...
  20. Movies That You Loved (Or Hated) - Part II

The Last Stand (2013) - 3 Star - Well, Arnie's getting old but still has some juice left in him. A nice action flick with some gory detailing as is a norm nowadays. Reminded me of Cage's Drive Angry minus the supernatural bits. Worth a watch for Arnie fans or just for a pop corn munching action packed saturday evening...
  21. Then that listing is a blatant fraud and should be reported to ebay. Because he is mentioning genuine product manufactured by Samsung Korea.
  22. Medicinal Facts and Alternates

Very True. Though I have posted this, all such information should still be taken with a pinch of salt. I was requested to publish this info from a friend who claimed that this thing works. I have NOT tried this personally but he has. And he is suffering from colon cancer.
  23. Note 2 . Though a little costlier. Amazing signal strength, voice clarity and battery life for a smartphone.
