is ur phone unlocked properly; what hardspl's u used; did u also do mtty commands properly...

AFAIK there are handsets available from 500/- to 20K for CDMA; and that comparison I was giving to show you ur justification of price differential vis a vis` gsm... and we have latest (even more than gsm) handsets available for cdma... we create them if we r not given (if u understand my drift)....

Sad to hear about your disillusionment with Reliance, but these are exciting times for us as consumers; little service problems u will find with all operators and with newer ones more so, specially coverage depth; so i wud advise you to not to take any decision in haste...

Airtel launched older Android Magic at 25K whereas Sadikk is giving the latest Hero for 19K; Airtel/Others wont launch Hero for less than 25K... well, I dont know what u r crying about; there's quite a good choice now in low end phones also (e.g. I saw some very good and reasonable Kaarbon Mobiles in CDMA/GSM dual); and as per your Idea, I have one Idea no. since last 10 years and would rate it as the most pathetic service provider I have encountered...

u will need to clo*e ur device to tata meid/es*... pls search on this forum/other forums for solutions... this topic is NOT for clo*ing solutions... @htcs**ks (what a name for a HTC phone owner!!) upgrade to new sprint rom (link already given in this topic-search search) and ur problem will be solved if ur device is properly unlocked...

Android is still evolving and not for everybody yet; its still a bit geeky with which everyone isnt comfortable; softwares are increasing day by day....

CDMA Hero has these added advantages over GSM Hero - - The ugly chin is gone, more rounded shape and easier to pocket - Larger battery 1500maH instead of 1350maH (though talk time of gsm model is more due to technology difference) - Larger Trackball size - Better button layout - Newer Processor

^ no chance of spoiling any finishing as its all in the inside plastic below battery cover; so no visual distortion outside...

your softwares are not installed properly specifically nero; also your operating system installation may also have been corrupted...

^ i had already got info of flex cable much before (last 2-3 months); didnt get time to research it carefully until gauravjc told it is very complicated process...wud have been more appreciable had he made the procedure public in first go...

^ arre bhaiya, main bhi hero par aa raha hoo.... aur mere khyal se doc muf bhi... android ki jai ho.... btw Sprint Hero is one of the most beautiful (though too perfect hence drab) phones around; its more beautiful than the gsm hero, all kinks are gone, battery upped to 1500mah from 1350; newer processor, bigger trackball, better button layout, nice chrome surrounds..... it does many things better than the iphone like your public network life on facebook, gmail, twitter, gtalk etc. and in some iphone excels like video playback; but overall if you are into google (like most of us are now) then android is the only way forward.... its almost killed pre, iphone to go.....

^ thanks for youtube link sadikk.... however i dont think this mod will affect touch pro's life in any way as it incorporates into micro sd card circuit; as u can see the flex cable also has micro sd card built in along with ruim card slot..... this was originally planned for touch pro and is from oem manufacturer once htc did not implement it....

right now the hardware cable without soldering is only for any CDMA Touch Pro; for mogul, it has already been done but involves soldering and more jugaad... await info for TP2...
