The codename for next Google Android version has just been unleashed. Gingerbread is the name of Froyo’s successor. Interestingly this name comes at a time when Eclair’s successor i.e. Froyo is yet to be released. This cool information was shared by Brian Swetland, Android’s Kernel guru. Brian while unveiling this cool name also unveiled that the Android 2.1 successor will be finalized by the end of this week.
