yes it is a direct competitor to metro tv ...but with advantage of 3 mp camera and slightly bigger screen...and rest is same...if it is priced around 4500.00 den it will be a blockbuster...

hopefully cdma operators get extra spectrum for 3g as promised ....then evdo is being launched o their networks ....whole scenario will be different..gsm telcos will be crying as they have spent huge amount in getting 3g spectrum.

no tele co. is burying cdma for now...infact they are gearing up for evdo b...

from 2 months or more wap is not working on my nokia 6265 nor on 6235.i think virgin has got new settings .firstly it was working fine with tata indicom settings ..does anyone has idea of how to change these settings or have new virgin pri file????

this topic has been started to gather information about such handsets on which two cdma ruims can be used at same time. As there are some benefits in using reliance networks while other benefits can be get by having tata connection.The coverage of reliance network is very good while tatas offer best tarrifs in telecom industry.NOWADAYS IN INDIA ,few handset(2 cdma ruim slots) are available or may be 1 or none BUT with the growth of CDMA the need of such handsets wiil be observed.So if any1 has any information regarding such handsets then he/she may post in this thread or any1 want to participate or to comment on this issue then pen it down here. take care, FAIZ AKHTAR

i have written an enquiry in www.samsungcdma.in for dual cdma handsets if any further communication is made to me then i will post it here and please do write suggestions in the websites of all cdma companies regarding our need of dual cdma handsets as we want to use two cdma ruims standby...one for better coverage and other for quality of service..... and also two more cdma operators will enter market this year(shyam and bsnl) so demand of such sets will increase...

samsung duo is not a dual standby handsets and i also doubt that it supports two cdma sims

ya tata handsets have ruim slots motorola handsets are ruim based in india whether it is tata or reliance....in usa operators have not introduced ruim features in their handsets it depends upon market needs... i hope there is no confusion in ur mind now babye
