Very well laid procedure. Destinator is running perfectly in this rom. First install HP_GPS.cab and then do as per the above post. First check GPS in GoogleMaps and then try in Destinator. It will surely run. Follow the above post and let us know if u have any problem... I did not even have to install destinator in this ROM. I only created a shortcut in programs from the file already existing in my Memory Card and it is running smoothly. U Can try installing also...

I'm using Sprint ROM same as mentioned. I've not done anything to guardian. I didn't let sprint sutomisation run. I can connect to Reliance World and Reliance Connect.

when you run dslreport.com, what speed do you get? Which speed is that - the connect speed or download speed? I guess when we normally talk about speed is always download speed. Correct me if I'm wrong.

In usa there's no restriction for changing the operator. You retain your number and goto any gsm, cdma, etc.

connect ur phone to pc diag mode, then goto search for new hardware. u'll see htc usb in mobile. if not then perform search. delete the item and let it scan for hardware change. this should do it.

US has 500-700kbps when I checked. 2mbps is the standard but it's not there when checked. Like when we check the broadband speed you get from 700kbps to 1.5mbps. I'm talking about actual download speed.

I suggest everyone to goto the reliance wap site to check their rates. take a print. if charged more than show them this with date. I had a long talk with cc yesterday. they tell me that these charges are for the new customers. I asked then why did I get the sms for that, I'm not new. they say it must have been sent as it was sent to all. they don't know who's new and who's old.

I had applied the whole sprint rom. The prl got updated but was showing sprint instead of reliance. also did not connect to the internet. I went through the original procedure with the QPST and cdma workshop and found that I was different settings. I made the changes and I am on. I've not run any of the cabs. I made the settings new. UPDATE FOR HETAL: when making cabs for other reliance connections such as reliance mobile world, rel netconnect, make a new one for rel netconnect usa. the only difference is that the user name changes to (your mobile number)@relcomm.com. password is the same.

got it. it's goning fine now. It's done without the cabs. My settings were not correct. Thank you guys.

Is anyone from here is going or making something on Android? A few suggestions. Let the OS be sturdy like palm os. Contact options like ppc. when synced with outlook, a 12 fields are available on phone from the telephone field plus email fields and im fields. sms options like nokia communicator. it has the option to send sms immi, at a particular date and time(sms schedular). It should be able run WM5/6 files, Palm OS files. These are my ideas. I don't know how far they would come true.

I hear that Nokia has bought over Symbian.

Nokia was thinking of getting palm os, but later they fropped the idea.

I've received a reply from reliance Corporate Care as under: "R World Charges • W.e.f. 01st August 2006, all new Postpaid OTAF’s will be provisioned with L0 Reliance Mobile World Plan. Customers can then choose if they want to migrate to Membership Plan (L1). • There are two rate plans: Membership Plan: (Not available for migration w.e.f 22nd Nov 06 for Postpaid customers) − There is a monthly membership fee of Rs.25 for using services from the membership bundle. − There are over 50 services in this bundle and they are marked with the icon ‘M’ − Membership plan charges shall be waived off for the month of April 2005. − Post-paid subscribers are automatically enrolled into this plan. Day Pass Plan: − There is a daily charge of Rs.3 if and only if you use any service from the membership bundle during that day. − There are over 50 services in this bundle and you can use any service any number of times from the membership bundle for a period of 24 hours from the first time you used it.
