WHat memory card should i put in my 6800? I was thinking of 8GB microSDHC, but a friend suggested to go for 2GB. I want to use GPS also. I'm working on going to lighter rom and install everything else on memory card. Do suggest.

Should the dummies guide be followed if I has Hetal's H ROM? that is, go through the cracking procedure? Or just load the new rom?

I tried when I was on the road but nothing is happening. The GPS should catch in buildings too, right? It can't find the satellites.

I forgot something. I had posted that foreign handset can be activated on Reliance. Hetal gave me an ESN which I sent to reliance person. I was told it can be activated. It also said it was in their database. When Hetal sent it to them, they said that they cannot activate it as the ESN was not in their database. The backend team says it there, the same mail is forwarded for activation and the person says it's not in the database. See how cool they are!!!

Reliance CC are the most useless people. I had a talk with their technical person for EVDO. I was in USA and I had complained asking why am I not getting connected to EVDO in USA? The person asked me what network was I connected to? In international roaming it only shows Digital roaming. When I told him that then he says I need to have the handset checked at the service station. The he asked me if I was getting 1X. I said I did. He sadi then that's no problem. Their network is hybrid so it would connect to EVDO. I asked why would it not show if connecting? He says it shows 1X but it connects to EVDO. I asked him how do i check that? I told him the speed I was getting was 67/75kb/s. He said this is very goos speed. He says in India they give 15/20kbps. This is funny. I told him in India I get the same speed. I told him that here people get 500-700kbps when on EVDO. I have run the test myself. He said once I'm back I should show them the handset. How funny can people be? This was the responce of the technical person from Reliance.

hey dkaile, Interesting note. I used alltel rom then sprint rom and now hetal's rom. alltel and sprint i had the internet problem. It asked for IOTA. I didn't know about the media player. I don't really use much music. My main concern is for contacts, calendar, notes and tasks. Can you tell me how you delinked icontacts? Hetal's ROMs are good but the only problem is they are too bulky. He absolutely knows how to do what? I don't so I face the problem of contacts. So I've been asking Hetal for the kitchen. In ppc 6700 I used Hetal's ROM, then Helmi's rom. I was very happy with Helmi as I made it and it was light. I made with a lot of help from Dheeraj, Kalpak and Hetal. I also believe after my nokia experience, load all possible programs from memory card. Keep internal memory free as far as possible. I was even asking hetal if the messages, contacts, etc all these data can be on memory card. For magicall install it fresh in internal memory. this works fine. let me know if you want any help there. Don't run the one that comes with the rom. you can use it by running the file MGCManager in the windows directary from resco explorer. the only problem here is that if you restart the phone then you have to do this everytime. Best is just install fresh in internal and then after restart load the MGCManager. you are set to go.

I've installed G ROM. I can't see Activesync as shown above in the picture. Also when I click on new, I don't get options like the picture. Any clue on why is this happening? With G rom, has the ext rom changed too? I remember reading someone mentioning that he was advised by Hetal not to load any from sd card. Has anyone got EVDO settings? Reliance is trying out so we can put the settings in. I'm yet looking forward for the kitchen as my contacts are not loading up even in the G rom through iContacts.

Hey, I did upload the ROM again, same thing happening. When I unchecked the connect usb for enhanced networking, it worked. Any clue on why this happened? The sync only has gone through. BT and Infra remain. I'll check again.

Do you hard reset your phone before ROM flashing? I did that but still it's not good. Sync with ppc6700 is going great.

vijay, are you talking about the g ROM? I shall load it again.

There's problem with the ROM. My infra, Bluetooth are not working. WiFi too is not working. It does activate, but does not communicate with other devices. Also Magical says the trial has expired. Can I have the kitchen for this? Your ROM is good but too heavy for me. Thanks.

this should eb the 3G iphone as the iphones are out of tock in US, UK. I heard the config would be 3G, 32GB internal memory, GPS, etc. If yes then I guess price of 23/25k sounds fine.

If planning to get Sandisk then get Ultra 2 8GB or more micro SDHC. The performance is really good.

Hey guys any news of 3G in India? any from reliance? I was just connected to Sprint in USA and it gave speed of 500KBPS. Yes. It's amazing. the download goes in less than 10 secs. This is great. I'm waiting for such speeds in India. I don't think Wi-Fi would be needed then.

How can I cancel the call forward option? I'm not in india, I'm in USA. I cannot dial *4100 or *303. I cannot dial * nos.
