@silent_god anytime sir. Whoever wants to use EV-DO they must change the plan and program it via dfs as suggested by doc. On each data session ends you will get automatic message from 1001. E.g. You have consumed 2.23MB.Your free usage remain989.21MB.EXP:2016-06-29. -

Intersing fact !! 😃 When I checked my sierra dongle on my last trip to Mumbai. No signal was showing. So it is only voice and SMS when you roam in Delhi and Mumbai. -

Customer care aunties and uncles have been doing this since launch of cdma. Always giving lame excuses and divert customers to GSM 3G 😂. Yes agreed with doctor. BSNL cdma is a worth the effort for coverage and speed at least in GJ and MH. -

I have been using EV-DO since 2007 when they launched it. I started with their zte ac8700 data card and upgraded to sierra 595u 4-5 years back. I have almost 0 issue of network. I have been also using bsnl cdma on my moto g since last 2 years. Any Ahmadabad users needs any help regarding bsnl cdma let me know. Can help you out. Main cdma office is located opp. Kalupur railway station. And SDE is good friend of mine. -
Install short cut master Search for roaming Launch roaming widget or settings. (Forgot the exact name) Allow data over all trip. Data would work now on roaming.

Finally Got it working on BSNL CDMA. CDMA Prepaid Tariff is confusing as well as staff doesnt know a **** about CDMA tariff. I wanted to get the Voice + DATA ( EVDO) but DE said we can give you only on old 291(8 digit series FWT/WLL) number. EVDO comes only on RUIM now. So took the 1x only wala number. I took the reference of my old Sierra 595U config which i am using for EVDO. Data Tariff is cheap for 1x. 50 Rs - 1GB - 30days. Screenshot.

@Manish. Paid DFS is required to program the iPhone 4. BSNL certianly register the MEID i have registered myself more than 10 devices. you will need proper contacts to work with these Babus. @Samrat. you need to contact your local exchange DE and ask them to register your MEID.

Registration chargers are 500 rs. and you need contacts and request to your area DE to register your MEID.

I havent tried to register for 10 digits yet. because of time consuming process at BSNL office. But it is poosible.

Confusion is my Sierra Data Card number is also 8 Digit. which is working fine all over India. this is same 8 digit series. but DE confirmed that wont work out of Gujarat. Only way to test is when i go out of Ahmedabad. i have all over india PRL as well. Will see.

Yes speed is okaish. but throughput is constant. basic whatsapp,bbm,twitter is fine. I am yet to find solution for SMS.

Dhaval. GSM unlock possible on Sprint Note-3 ? are you sure ? AFAIK no GSM unlocks for Sprint Note-3. Even i am stucked with DATA. DATA is not working. Maybe gurus can help us out who are using it on Note-3. -

@Dhaval121 You need to enter the 16 digit password as well with spc. 2012112120131219 after that you can change to NV to RUIM. I just successfully did it. Special thanx to shreesh sir. Thank you for your help. Now after changing it to RUIM. I inserted the sim but it shows invalid sim. I have couple of question regarding sim card. 1) Is cut sim works ? 2) What is the difference between orange sim and blue sim ? Whats the next step ? *228 will auto program it ? Thank you. -
So i tired the BSNL CDMA sim. it didnt get detect in my q10. so i bought the new reliance prepaid cdma sim and that is also not working. it shows 1x and 3g signals but no outgoing or incoming calls,no data as well. Sim has been activated and i tested the SIM in demo phone at web world. I tried *228 and got the message as attached in below screenshot.

I have got Sprint Note-3. I got the MSL code but i am not able to get detected in DSF. anyone know how to get detected into DFS ? How to enable DIAG mode in Sprint Note -3 ? I tried # # 3282 # and it asked me MSL code which entered. but after that no popup for enable DIAG mode. *Update* Got detected in DFS. and Send SPC also confirmed Unlocked. but changing it to RUIM and write it. Log shows BAD_SPC_Mode. Upon reset it and read it. It shows back to NV. any pointers where am i doing wrong ? -
BSNL cdma sim is OMH. Check this thread at our forum. http://www.rimweb.in/forums/topic/23633-bsnl-provide-evdo-in-sim/ My number is deactivated as i havent used it in last 3 months. So i will get reactivate tomorrow and get new sim. will try and update here.

Google has disabled it in kitkat update as it was drawing battery. That's what I read on Google's official blog. Although u can still see the up and down arrow by swiping 2 fingers. Orange for limited connectivity and white for proper connectivity. I have just ordered mine. Gonna try it with BSNL cdma network. Sent from my Q10 using Tapatalk
