Dear All, Any idea, how I can backup the Phonebook from Nokia 6265 to the computer? Like in Excel or TAB? I tried sync with the Nokia Software to Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook, but in both cases, couldn't get all the numbers, in each name. Thanks and Regards Gladson

WAV is not supported on 6255/6265. Not sure about other nokia phones. The formats supported are: mp3, midi and amr. Are u sure that WAV files are not supported???? Some wav files do work on my phone I faced the same problem "Some files of .WAV format work properly but some dont." I got a friend working in Reliance, who said that, his friend got his 6265 software upgraded and the coloured pixels on the camera and the resetting of tones in all profiles, on change of themes, got fixed. I am still waiting for the exact version details... @gladson, any further news on the SW version upgrade? When is the new sw version coming and please update as soon as you get the details. @khs123 I believe it's already in the Nokia Care offices, that's why my friend's friend was able to get it upgraded. But another thing, they're both working in RIM. Anyway, I'm planning to visit the Nokia Crae office, in B'lore tomorrow. Will check with them and let you know. I just called the Nokia Care Center here and they asked for my version. My Version is V HL190V0600.nep dated 26-05-06. He said, that is the latest version available. He said, it could also happen, if the software loaded is corrupted, however if I drop into their office, he will re-install the software and check. Lemme check with my friend's friend, about his version. Will get back to u as soon as I get any info I am sorry guys... My friend's friend, working in Reliance actually goofed up. He corrupted his software, so got it re-installed. But he's gng around telling everyone, he had it upgraded. Plus, he used to switch themes, but his ringtone was always Nokia Tune, hence he said, he didn't face this problem. Another point, if u use a video as ringtone, it doesn't change on changing your theme.

I bought an RD5340 for my wife, the day, it was launched in Kerala. I like all the features, except the RWorld in it. The SMS 2 Email feature doesn't work. I have a 5130 and I tried using the same datacable for the 5340 and the LG Sync software hangs. Any solutions?

Thank you, Guys. I am so happy. I made an imgae of 128x97 as per the tutorial and sent it to me 5130. But the top and bottom portions are empty, so i think the height can be more than 97. Can somebody please help me with BitPim connecting my RD5130 through a serial cable? I have got Win XP with SP2 and an orginal LG Serial Port Data Cable for Rd5130. Sombody please help me with making BitPim work with my handset.

I got the software from lgmobiles.com website, but it only supports Phone Book, To Do and Scheduler. Does anyone have any idea as to how to sync the smses and the wallpapers and the ring tones of LG 5130? Any idea of any new software, other than the one provided by LG?

Done!!! Kindly copy this file to the folder where you installed PcSync. It's usually "C:\Program Files\LG Electronics\LG SyncLite" unless u have changed the path during installation.

No, it only syncs address book, to do and scheduler... Any idea, how to make bitpim work with 5130?
