Since becoming pay the games section in R-world on GTRAN handsets has suddenly come up . Sadly all these games are pay on entry ("E"). Many other sections which were previously unavailable have also been made available. MMS and airline info are still not available Hopefully they will make it available soon.

I too had the same problem. I was able to upload ringtones but not wallpapers. When the problem comes press the disconnect tab on the pc-sync----- then switch off the phone ------- switch the phone on --------- and press the connect tab once again------ repeat the same process ONCE more if it fails. Hi all It is better not to be too enthusiatic about this phone --- even though it has all the features one can hope for it still cant match the styling of nokia 6600. And reliance has a history of not giving a phone all the features even if the phone is capable of handling it ----- take the example of nokia 6225 ----it sure is a very good phone with great styling but the main dampener is that it doesnot have r-world. The reason being it is available in the open market for both tata and reliance. So you can expect all the features of r-world in nokia 6255 ONLY if reliance has full autonomy and exclusive rights over the model and not available in the open market. Tanmay

HI friends I am desperately willing to upgrade my more than a year old LG 2030. It is a great phone but one needs to upgrade over time... SO i wanted to know which is the next best alternative to this phone at present rates (i.e best value for money) I also have the GTRAN phone ------- its a great bargain for 6k. My vote goes to this phone. But each person has his own choices ------- so go ahead and vote for your favourite phone. LG 6130 comes a close 2nd since i am not fully aware of its features Regards Tanmay

I am interested in upgrading from lg 2030 to this phone. Is it worth paying 6249 (i.e. with 750 discount) or is it worth waiting for newer models. I have another phone i.e. GTRAN and am quite happy with it. But i needed a camera phone. It seems that this phone has the following disadvantages ---- no pc sync, no ruim slot and 140 character sms for outgoing. however it has native mms from which we can send photos taken from this phone to your mail box, other rim and surprisingly GSM phones too (according to rel cc) Ringtones may not be a problem since one can send these via mms (hopefully) Regards Tanmay

Just hope that ALL future handsets are ruim based ------- so that reliance users can break free and not tied up like we are now.

I tried swapping RUIM from one GTRAN to another today and guess what it works!!! You can make calls and use r-world ------- it is just like a sim card----- just the phone book and sms are not transferred. So it should be possible to swap phones easily with other ones from reliance with ruim slots i guess. I havent tried this with TATA indicom phones. And the New NOKIA 3105 has a working RUIM slot like GTRAN. SO i guess it should be easy to swap phones. Regards Tanmay
