What I came to know is this: The PPC Sadik gave me was thoroughly repaired. There was even a broken screw because of which the guy could not open the set with ease. Lot of tapework, and Indianism is clearly visible. I am seriously disgusted with this guy Sadik, at least people should learn to earn money is a more honest manner. What the Gaffar people told is that there is some board which needs to be replaced, as he told the display is right - he checked with another display, and still another, and my PPC dis not respond to stylus, so we concluded that the signals are not properly reaching the display screen and the board and vice versa. I brought my phone back, wondering what to do. As for after sales support, Sadik provides brilliant after sales support - he doesn't pick up nor respond to messages. State of confusion pervades ... am I looking at a brick ...

Smart Dial is not available for any of the iPhone dialers. If there is a general consensus, we can have a smart dialer in the ROM and leave the iPhone skin to be installed by anyone later. So who wishes to trade looks for smart dial?

I suppose the dialer needs to be 'smart' to allow ## dial...so if you change the skin to smart dial it should work, or, otherwise, I will be updating the ROM to include EPST codes folder, from where the codes will work. This should work I suppose!

That is the thing - I am offering the base ROM with the latest radio and the core, along with all the necessary software - this is for all. Any one who wishes to use it on Reliance just use the Hetal's 6MB extended ROM flash and you are done!

Am using Bell Mobility WM5 ROm...version 3.12.30, Radio 1.41. This is AKU 3.3.1 it seems.. I am using this because in the latest AKU 3.5, when I am sending SMS to an airtel number in chennai, he is gtting as unreadable message. Second, if I use up full 160 character limit then the message does not get delivered, gives me an error. In this ROM, everything seems to be OK. My problem is just this - how do I get the OSX Aqua keyboard skin in this AKU 3.3? And, I need HTC Voice Recorder cab...anyone?

Hi! Anyone please give me TATA MMS settings?

Anyone here could you post settings and steps to configure TATA Indicom MMS? Further, Hetal's latest ROM has MMS, and in the menu the last entry is not mms configuration. I installed this cab file provided here and now the last entry in the menu is mms configuration. The tools and all are above this. How to remove? Or is this an earlier version?

What is the concept of full body shield? How does the slide out work then? Was the installation difficult or anything?

I am using Kevin ROM... because am not too much of a power user, so the great load of softwares on Hetal ROM is not for me ... however, I see that our Hetal ROM was having MMS support ... this Kevin ROM doesn't ... how do I add MMS support?

What I intended to highlight was that an Opera Mini allows me to sign in, while a supposedly full fledged and much more advanced Pocket PC OS does not?

Slight off topic, but here it is: I use a Nokia 6275 with Opera Mini on my TATA number, and I am able to access my ICICI Internet Banking Account. I use my PPC 6700 with Opera Mobile/IE on the same TATA number, and the login fails in ICICI Internet Banking... any ideas...?

Got it!! This is really great! So, deleting the log file supposedly increases the batt life?

@Dj I tried to do the procedure. But there is an existing PhoneExt_service.dll in the windows directory and the system does not allowed it to be deleted or overwritten. So the logfile keeps on appearing again and again no matter how many times i delete it. Amit same here ...

Where am I supposed to find this service logfile fix?

Just found that the d version of the ROM is also radio 1.1.. Hetal told it was 1.41..any idea how to get the 1.41 ROM? The core is OK, but the radio is 1.1 instead of 1.41...

Hetal bhai your earlier ROM was better in the sense that everywhere I am seeing Reliance Reliance Reliance on calls and dialler and everywhere! Please remove those!
